trickle down works very well.
you have better health care then the richest people had 30 years ago. That is an example of wealth trickling down.
the problem is people today are spoiled brats. that is precisely how your op stance sounds.
spoiled brats are those raised to be envious of the rich that as the op put it "got theirs"
they fail to understand the the rich that "got theirs", did so by providing a valuable good or service. wealth is the reward for contributing to society. spoiled brats don't understand that.
I was a hard boiled Republican from Eisenhower to Reagan. Never missed a vote in a national election. After voting for Reagan one time I saw the handwriting on the wall. Tax cuts for the wealthy, continuing to spend and accumulating massive debt. I went twenty years and didn't even vote. I was a Republican when they stood for balanced budgets, small government and individual liberty.
After the bull**** scheme they pulled on the middle class of America I wouldn't give them enough warm piss to take a pill. "Trickle Down" didn't work and it never will. Once those at the top get their hands on something forget it. The Republican mantra has become, "I've Got Mine Now By Gawd You Get Yours" They'll finally be satisfied when what used to be the middle class is working for the same as a Maylasian day laborer with no benefits. It couldn't be plainer if it was the nose on one's face.
I don't believe you were ever a conservative or Republican.

"The morality of abortion is not a religious belief, any more than the morality of slavery, apartheid, rape, larceny, murder or arson is a religious belief. These are norms of the natural law of mankind and can be legislated even in a completely religionless society."
I have a question. don't you think that it's a bit ironic that the Right wants to limit contraceptives for a woman, force her to have an unwanted child...then after that child goes bad when it realizes it was unwanted the person ends up getting the death penalty in a prison operated by big business? It just fails to compute in my logic.
The 'Right' does not want to limit contraception to women. We merely believe everyone should not have to pay for it.

Why should a health insurance plan cover Viagra and not birth control pills?
Yep good by moderate asshats like McCain and Romney and hello bad ass libertarian leaning men with balls like Cruz and Paul. If we can get more like then where do I sign up to bring down the establishment?
We have electricity now and cars and planes. Does that make us pampered as well? Your analogy is absurd. Society advances are a normal part of life and not related to trickle down economics.
Who cares what you believe. This is NOT about YOU.

Well,I care. Plus I am tired of liberals saying they are lifelong Republicans but the party has moved too far to the right. When I know it's bull. They never were. Like the author probably never was a Republican.
what you described required work. and to liberals that is a dirty word. they expect others to do the work and hand them the fruits of that labor it is the liberal way

Yeah I'm a spoiled brat. I went to work in a uranium factory at Oak Ridge five days after my 18th b'day. I tracked that green powder out of the plants on the bottom of my shoes for nearly ten years till I transferred to the computing center. I worked rotating shift work for 17 years before I landed a day job. When my three kids were young I often drew pay from three different places and worked all the overtime I could get on my main job. I've been retired now for nearly 20 years but since I worked in or near all kinds of toxic/radioactive materials for 41 years I don't think I owe anybody a goddam dime. Big companies are raking the cream off the top in massive amounts these days and we get closer to that Republican utopia......a Lord/Serf society.

Sounds like a good investment in the long run.
Birth control is cheap.
Unwanted pregnancies and the unwanted children that come from them are an expensive burden to the society as a whole, for a number of reasons.
But don't let me interfere with your plans to cut off all our noses to spite liberal faces.

Whats the point you should be made wealthy by the government at the expense of those who earned it? I guess the liberals buying off 47% + isn't enough for you - that is what this about you want more - not getting enough filet minion and lobster with your hand outs? If you ever were a Republican I'm glad you aren't now - Republicans don't expect the grubbynut to steal from the hard working and give to lazy creeps that can't hack it.

Yet another faux epiphany from some dyed in the wool liberal claiming to have been a Republican in the past.
You can tell by his highly distorted view of Republicans that the guy has never been a Republican.
Between abortion and the death penalty? Of course I do. But I don't think that death is justice if a person can no longer harm others.
