Trump is going to crash our economy sooner or later.
No one is trying to avoid them, this is something they simply have not had to deal with until now.shrug...
Of course, when the hammer comes down (tariffs), people will do what they can to avoid being hit. Well, Trump just took their latest move away from them.
It's time for them to pay up for a change.
So yeah, not just DHL anymore MAGA. Postal services in multiple countries suspending shipments to the US because of the confusion over de minimis.

Global mail carriers suspend U.S. deliveries amid confusion over new duties
Postal services in Britain, France, Germany and elsewhere said they would stop shipping parcels to the U.S. ahead of the end of a trade loophole known as de minimis.www.nbcnews.com

Way to go dumbasses.
I, for one, won't miss Temu. They've ripped me off a couple of times. Won't deal directly with China anymore.I support the "cause".
It's well past time that exporters into the US stop getting away with avoiding tariffs because of de minimus.
How many wives do you have? One of my wifes friends is going to miss out on her regular chocolate fix from down under until this gets sorted. Seems she is just days away from either having to go 'cold turkey ' , or eat US made chocolate, so things are getting pretty desperate.
SSshhhhhhh!!How many wives do you have?
A fate worse than death. One of my wifes friends is going to miss out on her regular chocolate fix from down under until this gets sorted. Seems she is just days away from either having to go 'cold turkey ' , or eat US made chocolate, so things are getting pretty desperate.
The USA rarely breaks the Top 10 for highest standard of living,The highest standard of living in the world? No idea to what you refer.
Sorry that your standard of living is so poor. I hope things get better for you.
While you are right about shippers keeping up, none of this needed to happen in the first place. You do realize that all these tariffs are nothing more than a delusional Trump fantasy. They are harming our already fragile economy. So, the issue here isn't Trump's EO. It's the inability of other country's postal systems to switch from no tariff to tariffs. They have to "retool" their systems. They had a month to do that. Sucks that they didn't.
Regarding DHL, if everyone else can figure out how to deal with the tariffs, why can't they? Sounds like they have an internal problem.
Wrong. While you are right about shippers keeping up, none of this needed to happen in the first place.

No...Again, you are completely missing the point.
The cause of this is not de minumus and importers trying to avoid it, it's the number of countries that now have tariffs and have deal with it. If there were no blanket tariffs, de minimus wouldn't even matter.
The bolded is a total fabrication. There were no blanket tariffs prior to Trump, and no tariffs on multiple countries outside of China, Mexico, and Canada prior to August.No...
The exclusion was used to avoid any tariff on any product from any country for any reason...
Which is why the point; the tariffs were always in place, but shippers used the loophole to exclude their products by breaking them into smaller shipments.
I guess that depends on how it is defined. Different people value different things. The USA rarely breaks the Top 10 for highest standard of living,
Desperate people from the third world. Europe is inundated with them as well.I guess that depends on how it is defined. Different people value different things.
The most compelling bit of evidence would seem to be how many people are trying to come here.
no, these tarrifs did NOT "need to happen". this huge tax increase by trump was completely voluntary and stupid.Wrong.
It DID need to happen. It's way past time the US stops allowing the world to **** us over economically.
The US economy isn't fragile.
There's a reason the world wants our money...we have a lot of it.
well, people are trying to get to a variety of countries. Not surprisingly, the US would be the destination for those in the western hemisphere, due to ease of travel.I guess that depends on how it is defined. Different people value different things.
The most compelling bit of evidence would seem to be how many people are trying to come here.
Dems going to have a 100-seat majority in 2026 if this stupid bullshit keeps up.
