Ok. But with his penchant for over the top exaggeration and paranoia about people coming to get him in his sleep I'd say it's more likely than not that he is either lying or saying that he has macular dystrophy when in reality it's something else that isn't nearly as bad. Of course I'm not claiming to know that he's certainly lying though. There's always a chance people are lying. I think it's very, VERY slim in this instance.
Ok, with that in mind, would you be inclined to instantly believe someone with Beck's personality and history if they made a claim like that?Of course. He always has been emotional and over-the-top at times.

Only if in the past they'd lied about a personal illness or other personal history.
and if they just plain lied?
So, he's lied about a lot of OTHER things, but because he hasnt lied about anything personal (that you know of) then he's Honest Abe when making tear-jerker statements?Only if in the past they'd lied about a personal illness or other personal history.

His batting average is not that great. I personally have never seen him issue a correction.I don't know what he's lied about since I don't know him personally. If he says something wrong on his shows, he corrects himself like when he said Van Jones was a "convict". He wasn't right. He corrected it.

Probably because the sites you peruse don't post them.
Sure. Glenn's.
how about a link to mr beck actually issuing a correction for one of his lies?
Um....you're an eye doctor?
No, but I looked up Beck's supposed condition and posted a link above.
I'm guessing an eye specialist knows more about it than a person using Google.
Probably so. Is there a post by an eye specialist that I missed?
Maybe you should consult someone who actually knows what they're talking about before making your silly assumptions.
I didn't make any silly assumptions. I looked it up, and found that the condition he supposedly has kicks in around age 10 and leaves the person nearly blind somewhere between the ages of 30 and 40. Beck is 46. It doesn't take a mathematician or an eye doctor to figure out that he's too old to be starting to get the condition now.
Besides, Beck has a history of bending the truth.
Again, I think an eye specialist is more intelligent than Google. Talk to one and then get back to me.
He already is blind. His body is just catching up.
