BDS = boycott, divest, sanctions
i did not say so …. but the SWR sees it that way. That is not antisemitism.

a difficult topic in Germany.
It is the same, in a milder form, of boycotting products that say “Made in Russia” that were made in Crimea.

the TV station SWR has sacked the German.Syrian mod Helen Fares because of her support of BDS.
BDS stands for boycotting Israel.
SWR may also have a point. The question is are other nations with even more egregious violations of human rights also targeted for BDS? Is China targeted for its occupation of Tibet? etc etc etc the list of violators around the globe is long.
BDS involves no such limitations. BDS is total on Israel
Send her over here.
ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, would be going fisticuffs over signing her.
Could probably walk right into most US College jobs as well.

Okay. It’s like boycotting Russia for occupying Crimea.
Israel is a country. Not an ethnicity or religion. They should not be offended if they are treated like one.
how .. and why …. ?Germany on the wrong side of history.
Not the first time.
how .. and why …. ?
how .. and why …. ?
Nope, this time Germany is on the right side. BDS and the folks who run it drown in anti semitism.I don't really think that needs to be explained.
You are certainly free to feel that punishing someone for being part of BDS is ok, so you might think this is the right side of history.
Also, i didn't mean to come off as if I was taking a crap on Germany. The US has also been on the wrong side of history many times, probably more times than Germany during the time period that the US was actually a country.
Texas tried to pass a law similar here, but i think it is either on hold or thrown out by the courts.
Technically America is older than Germany. However like any country no individual is responsible for a country’s actions.I don't really think that needs to be explained.

i am not talking of the right or wrong side of history.I don't really think that needs to be explained.
