The question is, why aren't "Dr. Farra" or for that matter the New York Times, French President Macron or others apply pressure on PA or Hamas to "end the war" so that normal economic activity and ability to eat can resume? And what were these organizations and talking heads thinking would be the result of senseless slaughters like October 7, 2023 and the various stabbings, car rammings, suicide bombings or shootings? Let's not forget who caused the tragedy.

Yes, it's time for Hamas to surrender. The fight is over and now they are responsible for their own constituents' suffering and death.

The world is complicated in these horrific crimes against humanity. All this does is breed new terrorists.
 
They don’t have “constituents” they have subjects.

They seized power a year after the last election there.

They have ruled by force of arms ever since.

Something tells me that, if you were to ask the average Gazan or the average Russian whom they blame for their woes, they wouldn't say Hamas or Putin, they'd say Israel or Zelensky.
 
Gee, Israel has already made it quite clear they aren’t “ending the war” until the Palestinian civilian populace is either driven out or mass murdered.

Israel has murdered more civilians in a single year than Hamas has in its entire existence. Wailing “October 7th” in hopes of excusing any and every atrocity rings utterly hollow.

Israel did, yes.

Yes, it is time for Benjamin Netanyahu and his cronies to be sent to The Hague, and Israeli colonies in the West Bank to be shut down.

Israel has had it’s boot on the throats of the Palestinians for 80 years.

Hamas was a response to that.

Which just put more boots on their necks.

Hamas itself wasn’t confident they would get voted in in an election so they just declared themselves the rulers and called it good.

The Government of Israel refused to allow ANY food to enter the Gaza Strip for a near-two-month period. Did you forget this?

The Government of Israel is refusing to allow the requisite number of lorries into the Strip every day. Did you forget this, too?

Moreover, the Government of Israel has set up a new food distribution plan that funnels desperate people who are starving right into the IDF strongholds - and thus into the killing fields of the last few months. What we're seeing is the Government of Israel, with the cooperation of the USA, using food as a bait to lure starving people into a tightly-enclosed area, where they are easy pickings for trigger-happy IDF youngsters. Did you also forget this?

Hunters use the same tactic to entice animals to a spot, where they are then easily targeted and killed by the hunters.

What does this have to do with the civilian population being starved by Israel? Your logic would only work if Hamas actually held sections of territory in Gaza that Israel was trying to breach them Battle of Berlin style, with the civilians being besieged along with the defenders.

But Israel has full control over Gaza. They are in control over who gets food and who does not. Hamas's surrender does not matter. They are now splintered guerilla insurgent force at this point. Ensuring the civilian population is fed and not murdered daily en masse is the most basic responsibility of the Israelis, and is in no way contingent upon Hamas surrendering.
 
This is incorrect. Israel does not control Gaza. Gaza remains under the control of Hamas. Israel has Gaza effectively blockaded, but Israeli forces are not in control of the city.

IDF lifted the "boot" in 2005. Didn't help calm the Gazans down any. Just led to rocket attacks. Sorry, but no, the "boot" has nothing to do with it.
 
Remember, the Government of Israel continues to order 2.1 million Palestinians to relocate here, to flee there, to evacuate such-and-such....CLEARLY, the Israeli Government and the IDF control Gaza and the daily lives of 2.1 million men, women, children, and babies.

Yes, Hamas' attack was illegitimate and unethical. The attack was denounced by nations around the world.

However, as unjustifiable as it was, citing it does not justify deliberately starving millions of innocent people, let alone years of deadly attacks.

It's also rather insane that you're just going to ignore the decades of violence, oppression, and violation of peace agreements by Israel. If you take your own argument seriously, then why aren't you blaming Israel for provoking the 10/7 attacks?

Incorrect. Gaza remains under the control of Hamas. "Under evacuation orders" does not mean that Israel controls the area. It means that Israel has designated the area unsafe for civilians due to the threat of airstrikes. Russia could issue an evacuation order for a US city if they so choose. It doesn't mean they control that city.
 
Did you see the link? Did you see the enormous stock of food ignored by Hamas/UN? "Starving people" supports their narrative and they will deprive Gazans of readily available food for that reason.

You have no way of knowing for a fact that the WHO could deliver the food but refuses to do so.

For you to assume that is the case doesn't make it fact.

It could well be that the Israeli Government REFUSES to allow a high number of lorries to enter Gaza each day.

BTW, how many truckloads of aid are required - EACH DAY - to sustain 2.1 million captive people? Did your article mention this pertinent fact?
 
Because the IDF is the direct cause of the starvation. They are in charge of the borders, who and what gets in.

Numerous international aid groups have pointed out that the Israeli Government is indeed STARVING people in Gaza. Moreover, people - including children - have been dying of malnutrition.

Are you going to say they're all liars?
 
You can deny it all you want, but the map I posted earlier clearly shows that the IDF/The Israeli Government controls wide swaths of Gaza.

Btw, "unsafe due to the threat of airstrikes" means the IDF/Netanyahu's Government controls those areas....

You are saying what you want to be true, but not what credible sources say is true. Your emotions are deciding for you.
