An Alternative view.
Overpopulation is a problem for the planet, especially regionally.
Not the only cause of the Radicalism by any means but.. take a listen to Martin Kramer at the Herzilya conference in 2010.
A speech that was controversial at the time.
But since this 2010 vid, the whole young/crowded Arab world has [predictably] Indeed Exploded.

His view, "Superfluous sons" (4th, 5th, 6th, 55th) is the Biggest catalyst for radicalization/Islamization.
People with Nothing to do.
1997-2007 Gaza population grew by 40%.
Double in population every 20 years. (with UNRWA's help/our money)
What will 20 million more Yemenis, 28 million more Afghanis, 80 million more Pakistanis do?

An Interesting 6 minutes.
