I think dog whistles are a conspiracy theory because the idea is a signal that some people pick up on and others don't. It's always the ones that aren't supposed to that seem to pick it out as a dog whistle.

It's just an excuse to say things that you don't like are racist or sexist or some sort of phobic.

Toxic mix of antisemitism and anti-Black racism. Caricatures of LBGT as predators are offensive as well.

There’s always someone who wants more hate in the world.

I think what you're doing is sealioning to cover up the dog-whistles even a deaf person could pick up on.

Yes, couched language is such a conspiracy theory that even the dictionaries themselves have fallen for it.

that's couch, not dog whistle. good fail though.

people are using it improperly

You cannot "groom" someone to be LGBT. Being queer is something you are innately born with.
im not entirely sure about that. there are some people who are trans or think they are are detransitioning and that happens so I'm not sure it's 100% across the board.

Clax….. ive been researching these guys for 5-6 years. I can tell when someone is using it jokingly or not.

no, I am saying people are dishonest in their usage.
Globo homo refers to a homophobic conspiracy theory. I have years more experience in this bruh. You are being dishonest.

The people in this thread need to listen to Digsbe. He has forgotten more about this issue than I ever knew.

John Money proved without a doubt that gender identity and sexual orientation are innate (nature and not nurture) and cannot be changed by any known means. This is why John Money couldn't made David Reimer into a girl, and why therapies such as conversion therapy, change therapy and reparative therapy do not work and are often dangerous to even attempt.

I posted about jalissa vine a while ago. Had a huge youtube following on her transitioning. 8 years later (studies have shown thats the average time to regret - coincidentally, Im sure) realized she ****ed up her life and is now detransitioning. Apologizing to all those she influenced on their path... and said the following:

"I don’t want to use the word indoctrinated but I was young and I was sad and I was impressionable and I thought this would fix everything.”

So, your "not entirely sure about that", seems a big understatement.

That doesn't mean that their gender dysphoria isn't real and inborn, it just means that the social pressure to present a specific socially defined gender stereotype, and discrimination they sadly face when they don't entirely fit any, makes it all but impossible for them to settle in to a situation they're comfortable with. It's the same kind of discrimination faced by boys who demonstrate traditionally "feminine" preferences and girls who demonstrate traditionally "masculine" ones, just with significantly greater difference from the socially-accepted "norms".

The statement was that LGBT team meaning trans. If you didn't subsequently choose not to be trans then it's a choice, at least for some people.

Not all trans people do that though. This would indicate that it's legitimate in some cases, likely most cases in not sure.

Being transgender is not a choice. A person's gender identity is innate and determined before they are born, so they are born with a psychological gender identity that is out of sync with the gender of their body. They were born trans, but as you were born gay because your sexual orientation is not heterosexual, but it wasn't a choice for you either.

It seems like it is at least for some people the concept of gender fluid means that gender identity is a choice.

No a person's gender identity is culturally acquired it's not innate the concept of gender as a thing separate from sex is entirely socially constructed there is no biological grounds for that whatsoever

I don't know that I was born gay I figured out that I was gay when I was about 12 I'm more than a decade after I was born. That wasn't my choice to be gay but what is gender identity if it's not just a choice and how you present yourself. I would go as far as to say identity in general is a choice. People choose to identify with all sorts of things all the time
