Gavin Newsom has been in China for the last few days, sounding and looking presidential. Newsom met with President Xi and other leaders on Wednesday before spending time in Guangzhou and Shenzhen visiting several manufacturing facilities, such as the electric car producer BYD. All parties involved described the meetings and visits as warm and productive.

Regardless of one's opinions about Governor Newsom, he is young and dynamic as compared with the current Oval Office occupant.

In that picture, Dictator Xi actually seems to be interested in interacting with him, as compared to just being patient and patronizing toward the current Oval Office occupant.

Much ado about nothing, if California was a nation it would be the 5th largest on the planet but as a state it happens to be at the top of the list in trade with China.

Been this way long before Newsom was governor making this political opportunism to blame him or call him out for this.

Without California and Washington state the CCP-PRC would be far less than it had become with all the US investment that lifted the CCP currently tanking economy. Indeed, Xi is highly animated in this photo which is highly exceptional of the dolt that Xi is. What's not visible in the photo is Gavin having Xi by the short hairs.

Gavin's schedule after Beijing is the cities of GuangZhou and ShenZhen in GuangDong province. Guangdong province is on the South China Sea shaped like a kidney from Hong Kong to the Taiwan Strait and the major trade port of ShanTou. Guangdong province being between Hong Kong and Taiwan makes the CCP BoyZ in Beijing nervous and for good reason.

I lived and worked in both cities and I was in and out of Shantou a lot where I pigged out on the seafood each time. I lived and worked in Guangdong province for all of my ten years in the CCP-PRC. Guangzhou City is the center of Ye Olde Canton and is the most open place to the West in China. Shining Shenzhen City which was a dumpy little fishing village 40 years ago is Deng Xiaoping's original Economic Development Zone where Deng is still a hero while Xi is scorned there as an idiot, albeit very quietly.

Guangdong province is China's California. It puts out almost $2 Trillion of Xi's miserably failing GDP that's near collapse. It's because of the four cities in this post that China's economy reached its heights, along with ShangHai.

Xi hated the former governor of Washington, the Chinese-American Gary Locke as US ambassador for Obama and SecState Clinton. People of Chinese origin -- and their families -- are not supposed to go overseas to become turncoats against China, to include what CCP calls "overseas Chinese" as if nothing about Chinese abroad ever changes 'em and that Locke is one of the many traitors.

Do you think liberals are the ones who are decide to import Chinese merchandise to sell in large national retailers such as Wal-Mart?

I think he knows he's next in line for POTUS and is already shoring up corruption opportunities to enrich himself while he screws over America. You know, just like all democrats always do. The reason Newsom hob nobs with Joe Biden is to learn how to hide the money and evidence of the corruption. I think he should find a better mentor as Joe Biden's corruption is becoming too easy to uncover, but then democrats don't have to worry because the establishment has their back and will cover up everything.
