I remember when gas sold for 25 cents. I also saw it at nearly $6, so stop with the gas going up again. It's currently lower than it was a year ago. Why don't democrats get some real issues? Yep. Gas here mostly $2.99 /gallon. Been that for awhile. $2.89 earlier this year…then $3.09 now $2.99.

Maybe it's lower where you live. Not where I live. It has never been as high as it is now. Shell station has a sign for $4.49.9a gallon. I filled up today at a cheaper station, $4.19.9 a gallon, more than I have ever seen it at that station.

I wonder how that works with Trump though.

I mean, nothing bad is ever his fault, even if he literally caused it in the same recording less than 30 seconds previously.

But by the same token, things that he thinks people like are always created by him, even if they have existed for hundreds of years.

Now, obviously, he's just trying to keep up the con of being the bestest, but...

Actually I don't know where I was going with this, it's all a con, none of it is real except the negative consequences, and we're all ****ed unless we can wrestle the bullshit these wealthy goons are trying to force upon us into line and have the government actually work at least somewhat for the people for the first time in 50-70 years.

They really want to go back to effectively 1920s or worse, they will and are having people work as all but slaves, all in pursuit of higher profit margins.

Yikes! Would you mind saying which state you are in? Your local gas station is clearly messing with you; gas prices are trending down year over year, and no where near their record high according to all state data.

For people who didn't actually watch the video, it appears stores are keeping the gas prices elevated although the wholesale price has fallen because they are now making up for lost revenue in the store with profits on gas.

Years ago I learned that most stores made very little profit on gas, but the bulk of profit on convenience items in the store. Now, because of the uncertainty, people are not buying those convenience items. But they've been down for more than just Trump's term, although he is certainly not helping matters.

Struggling consumers skimp on chips and cigarettes as convenience store sales slip

Sales volume at U.S. convenience stores dropped 4.3%.
