It will take time, but Biden will put the ship of the American state onto the correct course, noting, that, under Trump, well, the graphic
below the article below tells the tale of what America thought of the direction Trump was taking us in. 2 to 1 thought Trump was taking
America in the wrong direction.

The 346-page Government Accountability Office document, much longer than most, outlines broad Trump administration failures so alarming that the normally circumspect auditors pronounced themselves “deeply troubled.” That constitutes an anguished cry from an office that prides itself on just-the-facts, albeit dull, reports.

Almost 90 percent — 27 of 31 — of the GAO’s recommendations from June, September and November “remained unimplemented” as of Jan. 15, less than a week before Trump left office. The document was released last week.

Thank God Trump is gone, his incompetence has resulted in the needless deaths of thousands, including a friend of mine whom I just found out died of covid.

81 million voters already did that.

yeah. Trump caused the deaths of a lot of extra Americans simply by not knowing what to do (and then ignoring it).

he's just a horrible manager/negotiator/salesman.

But a great conman.

He could have managed it better, but mostly it was a state issue and while some governors did very well, others (like Cuomo and NJ and MA that are Dems) did horribly. It is purely a partisan talking point to pin all the deaths on Trump.

Did we get a vaccine in less then a year? Yes or No? Trump did what he could. Especially getting vaccines developed in a year.

Eventually, the right wing will turn their dismissal of 400K deaths under Trump into a nuclear bomb explanation. 400K died, so millions could live.

It is why preaching herd immunity is still so polular. They need there to be a death toll to write the next part of the national myth.

Disgusting.

Whether Trump was president or not, a vaccine could have been developped in a year. A vaccine in a year was literally done in 2009. Besides from asking for a vaccine, presidents dont influence how long it all takes.

GAO are now Epidemiologists are they?
Who's in the White House now?

Yeah, right. I reserve the right to be sceptical about this report.

Yeah old Trump was in his oval office working on his vaccine. lolol. Trump had nothing to do with the rapid onset of vaccines. It was private enterprise calling to force to help with a global crisis.

The Government Accounting Office, The American Journal of Medicine, and a whole laundry list of other science publications are all in agreement....countless needless American deaths because their was zero leadership in the White House.

Authoritarians like the OP chide the Trump administration for having the audacity to give state governors the responsibility for rolling out the vaccine to the people of their state. :ROFLMAO:

What else will Biden the authoritarian propose? Open borders w/o debate from the legislative branch? Stopping of border wall building w/o debate from the legislative branch? Mebe taking away gun priviliges w/o debate from the legislative branch?
Mebe a national mask mandate (which doesn't protect anyone from Covid exposure)?...Let it be known I warned you about the authoritarian Biden.

What a clueless, paranoid post. Especially the nonsense that masks don't work. We heard all this pathetic whining about your holy guns being taken away when Obama was in office. Nothing happened.

I can tell you that there is ample scientific evidence that mask wearing doesn't stop the spread of Covid nor stop death from Covid. I mean, think about it for a moment, the Covid virus lives for about 10 days on an unsanitized surface...There are many more ways for someone to contract Covid than through the mouth or nose.

The mask wearing is, solely, to prevent the Covid-sick from giving Covid to the non-Covid sick.

When I go out in public, i wear a makeshift HazMat suit.

Ok, where's this "ample scientific evidence"?

The increasing number of deaths from Covid and increasing number of Covid exposures AFTER general lockdowns and mask wearings have been in place. Well, that and this bit of logic:

You may have missed this, but lots of people did not lock down or wear masks. These people are mostly known as trump supporters.

No, it's because idiot 'libertarians' and other brain-dead individuals refuse to comply with restrictions and advice because 'freedom!' is more important to them than exercising common sense and protecting themselves and others. Prematurely easing lockdowns didn't help either.

Compliance with general lockdowns and mask wearings still hasn't stopped the spread nor stop death from Covid...And I'm not libertarian (but am much more libertarian than you, progressive).
