I made almost as much money from online poker as I did from my job last year.
It's a skill game, not a luck game.

I live in Oregon, and now and then I go to an Indian Casino. they are all over Oregon.Should it be legal?
This idea sparked by Kandahar's Indian thread.
Not when I have to pay increased taxes to deal with the spikes in crime, pollution, welfare, child neglect and a whole other host of social ills that inevitably follow legalized gambling.
Want to throw your life away? Sure.
Want to throw your life away and make everyone else pay for the damage? Hell No.
You see, according to Cocteau's plan I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think; I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I'm the kind of guy likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder - "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of gravy fries?" I WANT high cholesterol. I wanna eat bacon and butter and BUCKETS of cheese, okay? I want to smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section. I want to run through the streets naked with green Jell-o all over my body reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiener".
He's saying that it's the liars who win.
Yeah... EVERYONE wants to live there. :lol:No. The social costs are exorbitant and it's effectively a tax on the dreams of the poor.
Plus Utah is kicking *** without it. :2wave:
I don't have to lie to win on the slots! BOOYA!
Last trip to Vegas, I lost money. Trip prior to that, I broke even. Trip prior to that, I came out ahead. I loves me some slots.
Over the long haul, slots are always a losing venture. They are the biggest sucker bet out there.
P.S. Although I must admit that I love me some slots too, just not the same ones.

I can legally gamble at the Dog track and Horse track already.
I was not aware that Gambling was illegal.

Well, it's either slots or table games, and I don't like table games. So, slots it is.I can do them by myself. All the other games require I interact with other people, and I try to avoid that unless I'm getting paid to do it.
Gambling is already legal. There are State Lotteries... Horseracing... Indian Casinos... Vegas...
Should it be legal?

At least play video poker!
Why do people feel the need to spout crap thats already known when they know full well that the subject is about the gambling that IS ILLEGAL? Don't they know that they first have to actually be smart before they can be a smartA**?
