Volodymyr Zelensky is twice as popular in the United States as Donald Trump, according to a recent poll.

The Ukrainian leader enjoys 18 per cent net favourability, with the US president at 16 per cent net unfavourability.

The Gallup poll of 1,002 people’s opinions towards 14 “newsmakers” places Mr Zelensky in second place when it comes to favourability, behind the recently appointed Pope Leo XIV, the first American pontiff. Pope Leo’s net favourability stands at 46 per cent.

In case you hadn’t noticed Israeli apologists have spent plenty of time trying to claim Russia involved in October 7th, and plenty of the folks screeching loudest about Putin on this board have been avidly in favor of the IDF’s mass murder campaign.

Zelenskyy IS impressive.

Speaking three languages and the holder of a law degree, the actor with an extremely popular television comedy series (Servant Of The People) won the 2019 Ukraine presidential election. Zelenskyy's life changed forever on 24 February 2022 when 110,000 Russian soldiers poured over Ukraine's borders and a battalion of special Russian paratroopers (VDV) landed at Hostomel Airport just north of Kyiv. Their mission: Assassinate Zelenskyy and capture government buildings in the capital city. When asked by US President Joe Biden if he would like to be evacuated from Ukraine, Zelenskyy famously replied: "I don't need a ride, I need ammunition."
