Guess you think the same of Hillary ClintonIf there was a crime he would have been charged. Yep.

Of course, it was later reported that he actually retired and to boot the Washington office is not handling the case. It is being dealt with out of Delaware. Like I said a smear campaign from the right.

Top FBI agent resigns amid claims he shielded Hunter Biden from probe: report
Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was allegedly forced out after he was accused of political bias in his handling of the Hunter Biden laptop probe, according to a report.nypost.com
Not true. In early days I defended Hunter and cautioned people not to jump to conclusions. As we learned more it became clear there was enough to warrant an investigation. Now we have learned people inside the FBI was obstructing efforts to investigate.Apparently it's good enough for you with Hunter and his Dad.
His retirement does not mean he didn't interfere with efforts to investigate Hunter.Of course, it was later reported that he actually retired and to boot the Washington office is not handling the case. It is being dealt with out of Delaware. Like I said a smear campaign from the right.

I don't know if he is guilty or not but it needs to be investigated because it looks like crimes may of been committed by both him and his father making with others.

Are you sure?Hunter didn't pay a 17 year-old child for sex using an internet app. Gaetz did.
Uh huhMore BS.
He did do it. The reich-wing made sure he did not get charged. That doesn't mean he is innocent.
Yet you don't think the same of Geatz.....as Mycroft would say....I don't know if he is guilty or not but it needs to be investigated because it looks like crimes may of been committed by both him and his father making with others.
I have not seen equal levels of evidence to indicate Gaetz committed a crime as with Hunter. Context matters.Yet you don't think the same of Geatz.....as Mycroft would say....
Of course you haven't.......its all about your choice in " information" sources.I have not seen equal levels of evidence to indicate Gaetz committed a crime as with Hunter. Context matters.
Feel free to list the evidence to raise suspicion that Gaetz committed a crime.Of course you haven't.......its all about your choice in " information" sources.
Wut? "lack the balls". WTF are you talking about? There would be leftists lined up for blocks to lick the prosecutors' balls if they followed through and got him. There would literally be no bravery needed to continue with the case. No, they just lack the balls to do their jobs. "Lawfare" is a right-wing term used when they are angry people on their side are being held accountable for their behavior.
I’m truly shocked at the defenders of the panhandle’s version of Judge Roy Moore………
Release of Congress's investigative report took place today and most certainly already posted on this message board today - it is fitting that it be posted in this thread as well. It's obvious that Matt Gaetz should have been indicted and prosecuted at least 2 years ago for his potential crime(s) but his daddy's big money and Trumplican Critters in the right places have kept him free from legal prosecution. Even if he were to have been found guilty, eventually, master Trump would have pardoned him. Even so, it would have been on record his conviction that he well deserved.Feel free to list the evidence to raise suspicion that Gaetz committed a crime.
It's not too late, Garland can bring charges.Release of Congress's investigative report took place today and most certainly already posted on this message board today - it is fitting that it be posted in this thread as well. The committee concluded that Gaetz violated Florida’s statutory rape law after finding “substantial evidence” that he had sexual relations with a 17-year-old.
The committee concluded that, despite Gaetz’s denial, he used cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana several times between 2017 and 2020. Several women saw him using cocaine and ecstasy, and many believed he was regularly using ecstasy.
Members also found ample evidence that he used and purchased marijuana, going as far as to set up a “pseudonymous e-mail account from his House office in the Capitol complex for the purpose of purchasing marijuana.”
The committee also found that Gaetz’s attempts to mislead and throw off congressional investigators “implicated federal criminal laws relating to false statements and obstruction of Congress.”
What charges? There are no federal charges included in the report. Statutory rape is a State crime and you can be sure DeSantis won't bring charges. It's not too late, Garland can bring charges.
Yeah, I'm leaning that direction as well, given the Dem's 'Wrap Up Smear' tactic has been inadvertently confessed to.It was a political smear campaign that the left bought hook, line, and sinker.
So the trumpers will find a home for him, i assume. He is one of their own, after all.He must not have been so sure of his innocence given he asked someone in the Administration to ask Trump for a pardon. Doesn't change the fact that he is a scumbag.
Exactly. The point was never to pursue real charges. The point was a political smear and, that having been accomplished, it's time to move on to the next smear.
Yup. This is how Democrats are now conducting their politics. This is the MO of the democrats. We call it "Lawfare" and the objective is to get as many cases against political opposition as possible into the public sphere and to do so WITHOUT any trials because once the trial hits the opposition can present their own narrative and the LAST thing Democrats want is for that to happen.
