Frustration over one-sidedness

The vast majority of mass media and politicians, left leaning ones anyway, keep stating the potential of embryonic stem cell research. I am saddened and frustrated that they seem to continually ignore adult stem cell research breakthroughs that are occuring almost daily. Presuming they care about other people, why do they not note these treatments and cures that are already happening. I can provide hundreds of links attesting to this research and the current results. Please let me know if you want more information.
