Hey, Bret, how about paying attention next time and not believing your own lies (and those of your own network/cult leader).

"Fox News host Bret Baier was caught off guard by Kamala Harris and said she may have been "icing the kicker" by appearing later than scheduled for her interview with the network on Wednesday."

"Baier also questioned whether Harris went into the interview seeking "a viral moment" that would be shared on other networks and social media, adding: "I think she may have gotten that."

He just admitted what faux's goal was.

I thought and still think that appearing on a right wing propaganda network was an ill advised gamble. I gave her a 2% chance of benefitting from it. She landed on the 2%. Still an ill advised gamble, though. If faux had gotten anything they could use, that's all we'd be hearing about from domestic and international Republicans.

Hopefully, the days of playing nice with the media hounds are over. Just like Trump, when a reporter or journalist is rude, condescending, or making a false premise, the interviewee gets to call them out on it, right then and there. That's what happened to Baier yesterday. He tried to gaslight his audience and Harris practically not so subtly called him a liar to his face and then went on to set the record straight. Good for her!

Please show me a Baier interview with any other candidate where he talked over the candidate, ran an edited segment as part of a question, or ran an opponents commercial and asked the interviewee to comment on it. He is a Faux tool. Don't forget that he was one of the news people asking the network to slow walk results in Nevada and withdraw Faux's call (it was correct) of Arizona.

Forgot to add that they ran the edited segment without telling her it had been edited.

Faux News at work...

Harris is an empty dotard!

Baier has always been a total fraud. It tells you how much Fox News sucks that this guy is the best they can do for someone masquerading as a serious journalist.

I think it was a good call. She knew what to expect and was ready for it.

Now she cam hammer Trump with this.

Contrast the way Fox staged both interviews with the intention of sending subliminal messages. Trump's set with Harris Faulkner, was staged with big comfy chairs, an antique wooden wagon, chrysanthemums plants, an American flag, a cozy 'down-home-looking' wooden table, antique oak barrels, numerous bales of hay and warm, golden set lighting. A smiling and friendly Harris Faulkner was there to give Trump exactly what he wanted.

In the next photo, the Harris interview, the set was dingy looking, it looked like a prison basement with stark uncomfortable modern chairs, a stone wall with what looked like a ramp with handrails, a very cold looking round table with a couple of books on it, and gray-schemed lighting. This was intentional to make Trump appear warm and friendly, and to put Kamala Harris into a more foreboding atmosphere and lighting. It was an intentionally combative and rude interview by Bret Baier.

If this isn't subliminal messaging, nothing is.

Funny how some people can convince themselves and maybe hope to convince others of something that they didn't just see an 1729186688617.webp with handler instructions to drive home a single issue.
Easy to prove with one question.

She might have flubbed a couple of questions, but she sure got out the rant about Trump she wanted and fact-checked the interviewer on his talking points.
Flubbed , yes, ranted, yes. That much is true.
She's not capable of fact-checking anyone.

As I've said elsewhere I doubt she changed any fox viewer's minds. Maybe it was just to show she wasn't scared to turn up.
When you're prepared to react to questions with the same reply rather than answer them there's no reason to be scared.
Baier wasn't going to call "bullshit" on her but it was clear she turned every question into a Trump attack rather than talk about herself.
An interview like that, abridged as it was, is intended to learn about her.
It only confirmed her shallowness.

Meh, just another Tuesday on Fox. Like I also said, probably just wanted to show she had the stones to turn up.
