I dont know, I havent been there. But I think its focus should not be on slavery but on the positive aspects of black achievement and culture in this country in spite of the obstacles blacks have faced.

Slavery is part of the history. Its possible to do both and in fact it does. I have been there. The bottom floor starts with slavery here in America and progresses through American history as you ascend and the final two floors are just a celebration of Black American art, music and culture.
