2. most libertarian votes would go Republican; especially the kinds of candidates that they have begun to recruit this year.
that is why Democrats spent money and effort helping third parties like them out.
you may want to take a look at who is helping you, and why.
3-4. absolutely agreed that Republicans shouldn't have forgotten who they were supposed to be while they were in power.
but let's not pretend that voting third party in significant numbers doesn't put democrats in charge. you are responsible for the results of your own decisions, no whining that there should have been a happy magical world in which a candidate that would have made you happy also has a chance at winning, you live in reality.
(though your response demonstrates a certain small-mindedness)
At some point a 25 billion budget gap needs to be addressed lest we become a third world country.
there is no 25 billion budget gap just a projected budget gap that is going to occur 3 years from now. Kind of like that so called Clinton budget surplus, it was projected and never happened due to the assumptions being wrong. There is no guarantee there will be a gap in 3 years and you know it.
The history of the Perry tenure doesn't have the best record thus far.
The voters in TX disagree with you and the economic results during this recession show there is no better place to be. Wonder why you remain here? Looks to me like you would be happier someplace else.
More than double unemployment sine dec 2000 is a good economic result for the Perry tenure?
Compared to the rest of the country, not bad, not bad at all. Recessions have consequences just like the election of Barack Obama.
Ahh its obama's fault.....LOL
BTW unemployment never got back to the low of Dec. 2000 through out Perry's tenure. Oh and the budgets to what was spent never matched up either.

Well, you have another 4 years to complain about Rick Perry and I know I can count on you to do just that. TX elected 20 more GOP legislators so I can imagine that the rhetoric is going to get more over the top from you than normal. That is ok, I expect that from you.
Maybe you ought to get hold of the CEO's that are moving to TX and tell them they are making the wrong mood. Start with Caterpillar out of Illinois. Then I am sure there are California companies that would love to hear from you. Your lack of understanding of your own state is quite staggering, guess it takes a transplant from the Midwest to really appreciate what we have here. You on the other hand just take it for granted. you need to get out more.
By the way don't know where you get your information but obviously it makes you look rather foolish. Guess you have no pride.
Bureau of Labor Statistics Data
WOW you just fall right back into rhetoric mode when the facts don't agree with your romanticised view.
Pssst you used seasonally adjusted figures I used non seasonally adjusted.
And it still holds true that during Perry's tenure unemployment has not hit the low of Dec. 2000.
Seems like you have a different definition of fact than I have. I actually buy the official BLS data and you make things up and call them facts. Guess that is what ideologues like you do. Give BLS a call and tell them they got the numbers wrong and that you know better.
It doesn't matter which numbers you used, nor does any of your rhetoric matter. The facts speak for themselves and although it wasn't 4.2 it was 4.3 later than 2000. I suggest you check out the job creation over the past decade as well. doubt seriously however that it will matter. Good luck dealing with the next 4 years in TX. You really need to get out more to see what you actually have here.
What job creation? Unemployment went up over all during Perry's tenure so far.
Local Area Unemployment Statistics
Or if prefer:
Google - public data
I used the NOT seasonally adjusted data. You do know what that means right?
Yea they talk big but how many will actually do what they say? Im willing to bet none and how many are actually against the Patriot Act, the Drug War and our cluster**** foreign policy the only one by my count is still Ron Paul. Libertarians arent just about economics.
Democrats have their own third parties that run against them the Greens are the biggest nationally but at least in NY there are at least three, four if you include the Independence Party.
Really whos helping me?
Yea and they somehow always find their way when Team Blue gets in power, squawk good rhetoric and do the opposite.
Sorry I vote for my principals and no bull**** guilt trip from you or anyone else will change it.
Majority of conservatives and Republicans dont want a constitutional government they want a smaller statist government when compared to democrats and liberals.
Thankfully I dont live my life to appease others. I could care less if someone thinks Im small minded, you dont like my opinions and posts put me on ignore.
