This show cannot be what Hamilton, Jefferson et al had in mind. This will not change a single partisan mind. As another poster stated, “.......240 years was a good run.......”
The democrats need a big score and even if it's after this farce of a trial. Something like Rudy's indictment would do very well.

So according to you, this is all about Democrats "scoring," and "big."
What I mean is that it's going to take a ****ing bombshell, nothing short of a smoking gun, that will convince the right that this man and his administration is devastating this country. You can put whatever connotation or meaning you want to my words, but I'm only telling you and others that there must be something so out in the open, so horrible and so undeniable that people will have to turn from supporting him. Indicting Rudy would be the beginning of the end, and yes, a ****ing bombshell.

It's putting the situation in another context.
The ultimate objective is to get rid of Trump and put a Democrat in the White House (as well as a majority of congressmen and senators)
You don't say.
I'm taking the plain meaning of what you actually said.

Rudy will not be indicted as long as Trump is in office and Barr works for him. Unless SDNY goes rogue, which is always a possibility.Rudy will be indicted in the next 12 months.

Don't tell him that's everyone's plan, substituting Democrat for whatever.

Hopefully. Should be the first job of thew new AG on 20 JAN.If and when Trump is removed from office both he and Rudy can expect to face charges.

If so (Barr stays out of SDNY), can you imagine the pressure the President will put on him?Barr has already faced internal pressures from the FBI regarding the firing of two directors, and the issues with the Mueller investigation. The last thing that he needs is the US Attorneys from the SDNY staging a palace revolt and I think that if there's one thing that intimidates Bill Barr, it's the extraordinary lawyers at the SDNY.
The SDNY has long been known as being a semi-autonomous federal district investigative arm, always been 'sort of rogue'. I believe he's going to stay out of this one because Rudy and the other two guys have been caught red-handed, there's evidence against them. Hard evidence. You can't stop that kind of investigation without riling up the people.

I don't think Giuliani getting indicted would make the slightest bit of difference to Trump supporters. Why would it? Nothing else does.
Trump getting removed from office in the impeachment trial would (even though it looks like that is an impossibility)
Commentators have suggested Trump will try to stay in office anyway, even if that means locking himself in the bathroom of the Oval Office.
With his supporters demand that the impeachment trial is ignored ?
Trump supporters in the Senate are the only people standing between Trump and conviction. So the slightest bit of difference I mentioned can't be removal from office.
The point is that Trump might not go quietly.
Those GOP senators have a big decision to make - by all accounts they detest Trump but fear his power even if removed from office.
You state the obvious often.
