There were no underage prostitutes. The prostitution ring did not exist. There is no code for prostitution on income taxes. If they wanted them to create fraud they would have just told her not to file and say she made no income. Again I doubt you watched the unedited tapes but rather the original tapes Okeefe released.
Of course it didn't exist, silly. It was an undercover operation. None of it existed. ACORN employees were giving out information on how to smuggle in underage girls in order to bolster their prostitution business. You think because there wasn't really a prostitution ring that ACORN is innocent? Wow. You think they only said that because they somehow KNEW that it was an undercover operation and not real?
P.S. Brooklyn, NY
May Bertha live in interesting times. - Chinese curse
That makes me wonder who the new Jews will be in the 21st century? Will white people be the new Jews to be thrown in internment camps?
Where in the videos do acorn employees tell Okeefe where to find underage girls, pay their way, put them on transportation to smuggle them in the country and then set up a prostitution business? Its nowhere on those tapes. It was not real. No paperwork was filled out no crime was committed.
Okeefe is the one facing trouble with the law right now. But the ends justify the means right? It doesn't matter that the whole thing was a complete fraud as long as ACORN went down right?
Harmless. How many elections did this harmless organization fix? Did they fix it so Obama won the election? What about the sting operation that caught them red-handed pushing prostitution? Harmless? Hardly.
Brooklyn, NY - advice was given on how to manage an underage prostitution ring. No paperwork was filled out. Who said there was paperwork? Saying it wasn't real is ridiculous. It happened. It's all on tape. They got fired. Just because they were undercover doesn't make what the ACORN employees did okay.
It wasn't a fraud unless you think all undercover operations are frauds. OMG! He WASN'T wearing "pimp" gear??? OMG!!! What a fraud!!!
O'Keefe's charges were reduced after it was discovered that he wasn't tapping any phones. What a fraud all the media coverage was about O'Keefe tampering with Landrieu's phones.
A non existent prostitution ring. The workers were fired so what are you crying about?
A non existent prostitution ring. The workers were fired so what are you crying about? This was no undercover investigation. Okeefe had a clear purpose to make acorn look bad from the get go. He released none of the tapes where he was turned away he lied about what he did. Then again you would take the word of a liar. It wasnt real there was no prostitution ring. Again you avoid my comments of the unedited tapes. If you truly watched all the tapes then what differed in the uneditd ones?
Harmless.
How many elections did this harmless organization fix?
Did they fix it so Obama won the election?

You have provided no proof that registration mistakes had anything do with elections as those gaming acorn with fake registrations never had those fake registrations voting. As for only registering for one party thats a lie. Acorn cant pick and choose who they register. The registered republicans and democrats. It just so happens a large percentage of the poor register as democrats. Why would employees who apparently did nothing wrong, and an editor of a video who did everything wrong (according to you) be fired for a non-existent prostitution ring?
You're argument doesn't hunt, or else said employees would still be employed. But don't tell me, this is all Faux News fault right?
What you cannot seem to grasp is, the existence or non-existence of the prostitution ring is irrelevant. At face value, these ACORN employees provided guideance to people who they knew were not only shady but again at face value, could be involved in illegal activity.
Setting that aside, we have ACORN who claims they only want to help the poor, yet sign up the poor for one political party only, while then claiming they are a non-partisan organization. They're leaders have covered up the brother of the founders embezzlement of $5 Million dollars, they have employees across the country who have been arrested, charged and found guilty of crimes, they've had local offices raided by the FBI and evidence confiscated, Congress cutting their funding, Judges going both for and against... this is not the angelic Robin Hood organization Democrats and other supporters make them out to be helping the poor find housing. Give me a ****ing break. Using that logic, Charles Manson was simply a misunderstood mentor of young women.
Fact is, this White House, and ACORN as an organization lives on. So more illegal activity, fraud and registration "mistakes" are sure to fill voting ballots of Democrats and Progressives in the future, so that should make you very happy.
Got a source?Voter Fraud perpetrated by ACORN employees did not lead to voting fraud in any way. ACORN employees are usually poor people hired to register voters, and they needed to meet a quota to get payed, and some of them were not able to honestly reach the quota. The right is painting this as a bigger issue than it is.
Apparently not legit enough to never fill out paperwork. Now you should ask yourself why Okeefe talked with low level part timers instead of anyone in the organization with power. How to deal? No no advice on how to deal. Well lets see prostitution doesnt have a code. If they wanted her to hide her job she would have just not claimed income and not filed. It disturbs me that someone like Okeefe can create a narrative and you fall for it no matter how many times hes caught lying. What disturbs me is how he goes after organizations who get little from taxpayes and help minorities while ignoring organizations like Dyncorp who set up real underage prostitution rings and receive billions from taxpayers.I'm not going to keep answering the same question over and over again.
You're dodging the fact that ACORN workers did indeed give advice on how to "hide" someone's job as a prostitute. They also gave advice on how to deal with underage, foreign girls for the prostitution ring. Your only defense is that there really was no prostitution ring. They didn't know that. They thought it was legit. Doesn't it disturb you that ACORN employees were doing this? Do you agree that they should've been fired?
Nor do I as I'm not an AG or prosecutor. However, that fake registrations were taken sometimes for dead people is all I need to know to identify ACORN as a ****ty organization, and their employees either desperate or politically motivated. As for the embezzlement which you do not address... that was hidden from the organization and swept under the table like all things with ACORN - it's dirty. You have provided no proof that registration mistakes had anything do with elections as those gaming acorn with fake registrations never had those fake registrations voting.
Legally you're correct, however realistically, organizations don't follow that have you seen this for Faith Vote?As for only registering for one party thats a lie. Acorn cant pick and choose who they register. The registered republicans and democrats. It just so happens a large percentage of the poor register as democrats.
No crimes were comitted.
Over rated or not, I see what I see and heard what I heard. No editing is changing what these people said.Youre still taking the word of a liar who has been proven as such with his revised statements. Acorn employees should have been fired for not following their training but thats where it should have stopped. Okeefes goal was to bring down Acorn. If you havent watched the unedited tapes I suggest you do. Acorns power and influence is overrated.
I suggest focusing on real criminals.
Sting operation? No there was no prostitution or pushing of it. Okeefe edited the tapes to meet his agenda. Jerry Brown got them to release the unedited tapes for California and when you watch them you clearly see Acorn over and over telling OKeefe that they can't help him. Then Giles pleaded for sympathy. It was Okeefe that had to push over and over again. Even then no crime was committed. ACORN didn't fix elections that's one hell of a conspiracy theory
If nobody was pushing prostitution, why did the tapes I saw indicate differently and why did Acorn fire the counselors involved?
How many get govt funding?Priests all over the world committed horrible crimes against children, and their superiors in some cases helped cover up the crimes:
Catholic Church moved abusive priests abroad, says AP report
The GOP has had a troubled history as well:
Ney Pleads Guilty to Corruption Charges
Should these organizations be disbanded and their leaders jailed, or do those standards only apply to ACORN?
How many get govt funding?

Does anyone here think that Lewis is correct in her prediction that what's going to happen to them [she's talking to Socialists] is going to be like the Internment Camps?
No. I certainly hope not. Though I'm not a socialist and don't advocate socialism, it's not illegal to do so, nor should it be.
I think you've said this before. Who is implying that it should be illegal? That's just silly.
Well, the implication is that socialists will be rounded up and incarcerated. Maybe illegal was a poor word choice. Anyway, I don't think that will happen -- is that not what you were asking?
