How should Brown's family feel about Wilson?
None of that happened?
Brown didn't try to take his gun inside the truck?
Where was Brown when he was shot in the arm?
Do you disagree with Holder's Justice Department?
The forensic evidence does not support Brown trying to take a holstered firearm from Wilson.
The Justice Department had to decide whether there was evidence of a federal crime.
The Grand Jury had other charges to consider.
Forensic evidence and witness testimony put Brown next to the Wilsons vehicle when he was first shot in the arm.
That would only be one more piece of evidence and these people backing Brown don't care about evidence.
They would likely say the footage was doctored so it wouldn't even be considered.
No. It would be definitive unbiased evidence. Say there was a body cam on Wilson. I doubt this would've become such a heated situation(if for example the video corroborated Wilson).
I don't care about what you say, "they would say"
What you are missing is that the evidence now shows who was at fault and what happened, but the evidence is dismissed just like the body cam footage would be.
So thats your argument against body cams, "I think they will dismiss the evidence so why try anyways"
:lamo
Who said it was evidence against anything? I am just saying it will not be the cure all you think it will.
So blood inside the truck doesn't prove anything?
You think Wilson unholstered his weapon in a closed space, which they are trained not to do, to shoot Brown with no reason to do so?
Well he made a choice when he executed the black kid -- shooting him over 10 times.
Now he needs to live with that choice.
Of course no police dept can afford to hire him -- it would lead to an outcry.
He needs a night watchman's job now.
CAN an unarmed man do serious bodily harm to another? Certainly they CAN... IF the circumstances are right. I have dislocated peoples shoulders and broken bones defending myself from two knife attacks.
I have fought in the ring, have black belts in martial arts and was a reserve police officer.. and am also a medical provider that understands what it really takes to do grave bodily harm to someone.
Wilson is or was at the time around 200 pounds.. in good physical condition.. is over 6 feet tall, and is a trained officer that's trained in unarmed combat.
Brown was a big fat guy.. out of shape, wounded.. several feet away giving Wilson plenty of room to maneuver.. Not an imminent threat of grave bodily harm or death.
Your argument that's it justifiable simply doesn't fly in the real world.
How should they feel about the son they raised causing all this turmoil?
He didn't execute a kid, he killed a young man that decided he was too good for the law and robbed a store then attacked a cop. Wilson deserved a medal, not this. This is the real injustice on display, Wilson living in hiding and people like you perpetuating lies borne of ignorance.
Even though Darren Wilson didn't receive any prison time, he is still serving a sentence. He is not really a free man.
Sure.. it shows that he was shot at the vehicle and blood spatter went into the vehicle.
and yes.. the forensic evidence supports that Wilson drew his firearm in the vehicle and shot Brown.
At the vehicle.. I think its questionable whether Wilson could be justified in shooting Brown.. AT THE VEHICLE..
the law stipulates that Wilson has to "reasonably" believe that he was in imminent danger of death or grave bodily injury.
In that enclosed space.. with Brown possibly striking him. I think its reasonable that Wilson could believe that he was in serious danger of grave injury.
As an former reserve officer.. I would give him the benefit of the doubt. no room to maneuver and possibly being hit? Tie goes to the police officer. (even though Wilson did not show any injuries that would be consistent with being hit with enough force to cause death or grave bodily harm)
Once Brown runs off..and Wilson exits the vehicle..? No way is it justifiable.
There was no way they could have known their son would be murdered this way.
That is not what I said. I was talking about his actions leading up to the confrontation with Wilson. You don't raise a criminal like that without knowing he is like that.

Exactly. There was no crime for them to prosecute. If there had been they would have.
Why are you hung up on the Grand Jury.
What do you think they got wrong?
You understand they saw the evidence and you have not, right?
Don't you think their informed decision would outweigh your uninformed ideas?
Witness 40's testimony supported Wilson's version of events. Yet prosecutors questioned whether she was even in Ferguson on the day Brown was killed -- and they asked her about a racist post online that would diminish her credibility as an impartial witness.
Video from that day shows no sign that her car was there, and the way she claims she drove home is physically impossible, authorities told her.
In later testimony, Witness 40 changed her story about some of what she saw and admitted to having gathered some details from news reports. She also gave a different reason for having allegedly been in Ferguson that day, and shared part of a journal that she claimed to have kept.
On the day of the killing, she posted a comment online saying, "They need to kill the f---ing n-----s. It is like an ape fest," the grand jury documents say. (CNN is redacting the "f" and "n" words, but she used them in full.) She also organized a small group helping raise money for officers, including Wilson -- a group she said was created as a result of this incident.
