Ok now I have to ask... what little things do you feel the need to not have a paper trail about if not drugs???? You know cheap hookers????

Should the US move to a dollar coin over the dollar bill?

The last time I was in Alberta, someone joked the toonies weight too much to be popular with the strippers.:mrgreen:Will Americans use them?
Canada dropped both the one and the two...the $2 bill was our great little secret....and other than suit pant pockets wearing out sooner it's been fine, sure makes a difference in doing laundry!
But then we have phased out the penny now and have also brought in polymer weave bills they say will last 50 to 70 years, can be washed for cleanliness and have all the cocaine removed....
so do that, it's kind of cool having money you can see through...the only problem is it disappears from your wallet as fast as ever
I am all in favor of a dollar coin but it would have to be a different size than a quarter. It was the size of the Susan B. Anthony dollar coin that killed it. Now a dollar coin about the size of an old 50 cent piece just might fly. I am also in favor of doing away with the penny. When I was stationed in Germany, we did so. The prices remained the same in the PX, but when one checked out if the last digit or cost ended in 1 or 2 it was rounded down to 0, 3 and 4 upped to 5, 6 and 7 down to 5 and 8 and 9 up to ten. No pennies.
I still have a pile of Susan B. Anthony and Sacajawea coins lying around somewhere. Never used them.
I got some too, but where is the question.
Yeah I hear you, I'm sure they're with my 1976 $2 bills, lol. I do however know exactly where my dad has his stash of pre-1964 coins.
