For all the teachers out there.

My daugher is doing her first year of teaching and that is so damn true. I am so sick and tired of people bellyaching that the problems of the world are due to teachers. Teachers are doing their best in this country of lazy people.

A teacher has your kid what maybe 6 hours? Parents have them the other 18 hours of the day. Maybe they need to get involved in their kids education too.
 
This is my first year teaching first grade and I have never worked so much and so hard. It seems like I'm always either at school or working on school stuff at home. Maybe it's just because it's my first year at this level, but man....I'm exhausted all the time. It's not so much grading papers because it takes 30 seconds to grade first grade papers, but it's the organization, the assessments, the planning... not to mention getting new students every week it seems. I'm pooped. *collapses*
