You tell us. With statistics.
How many would you estimate? My estimate would be 0.
About three-quarters of liberal Democrats (74%) said they had shopped at a Wal-Mart in the past year, but just 28% reported shopping there regularly. That compares with 45% of conservative and moderate Democrats and similar percentages in other political groups.
Zogby finds that while 85 percent of frequent Wal-Mart shoppers voted for President Bush's reelection in 2004 (and 88 percent of people who never shop there voted for Sen. John Kerry), Wal-Mart voters have turned on the president dramatically. In a poll taken earlier this month, they gave Bush a 35 percent approval rating -- compared to a 45 percent positive rating from born-again Christians, 49 percent from NASCAR fans, and 54 percent from self-identified conservatives.
Ah, the internet. Where the hyperpartisan are exposed for the fringe that they are:

So, out of Democrats/Liberal voters, ~35 shop there regularly and out of Conservatives/Lib. Conservatives ~45% shop there regularly. Showing your "estimates" to be wrong.
I didn't ask you how many people shop at Wal-Mart.

Correct, you asked how many of those shoppers vote Republican. I showed you a link which showed you that 85% of Wal-Mart shoppers are Republican voters. Here are the numbers again:

Now focus like a laser beam:
12 million on welfare.
996K in Louisiana.
50%+ are GOP
Now, let's just focus on 85% of regular Wal-Mart shoppers being Republican vs 996K in Louisiana being on welfare. Anyway you slice it, that's way over half of the people that showed up at that mall with EBT cards being Republicans. Proving that your estimate for '0' is statistically impossible. Even if only 200 people showed up, at a MINIMUM that would be over 50 EBT shoppers being card carrying Republicans. Do you understand how numbers work yo?
Actually, it can't. The only entity that can pay taxes are people. Nothing else has the capability to pull it off. Once you start treating something as a person you shouldn't be surprised that are in turn seen as one.
How long did it take you to google all that? This is hilarious.
You're not grasping it. Did you watch the video? Here is the video:

My comment has to do with the people in the video.
Not everyone that shops at Wal-Mart.
You're just not very bright. I'm sorry, not trying to be mean, but you're trying too hard and wasting all your time with some fail math.
Here, let me help you a bit. Focus like a laser beam. Stay with me now.
This incident happened in 2 cities located in one state. So if you're going to go through all this trouble you might want to focus on the demographics of the 2 cities in question
Just sayin
Anyways have a nice night :2wave:
How many would you estimate?
My estimate would be 0
This trash is completely dependent upon The Government (taxpayers) to live. It's a National disgrace.
The only politicians they vote for are the ones who give them Food Stamps and Obamaphones
19 minutes. Only about twice as long as it took you to basically tuck tail and run without a single comprehensible reply.
Ah, a liar as well - I'm sure your comment had to do with a video you JUST posted in this thread. Bronson, I have always wondered. When you're losing a debate, do you always resort to lying?
Correct, you inquired about the EBT shoppers. Which I responded.

Quit sayin' - we've established your forte is using the words "socialist" and "fascist" ad nauseum and until we start playing a drinking game. Now, would you like some help moving goalposts? Or what?
Ah, the internet. Where the hyperpartisan are exposed for the fringe that they are:
So... 85% of a constituency (Wal-Mart shoppers) voted Republican JUST 8 years ago. What percentage do you think are still Republicans today?
Correct, you asked how many of those shoppers vote Republican. I showed you a link which showed you that 85% of Wal-Mart shoppers are Republican voters. Here are the numbers again:

Focus like a laser beam - this part is tricky:
12 million on welfare.
996K in Louisiana.
50%+ are GOP
Now, 85% of regular Wal-Mart shoppers being Republican vs 996K in Louisiana being on welfare. Anyway you slice it, that's a little over half of the people that showed up at that mall with EBT cards being possible Republicans.
Proving that your estimate for '0' is statistically impossible. Even if only 200 people showed up, at a MINIMUM that would leave a possibility of 50 EBT shoppers being card carrying Republicans. You think this is a game?
Now let's just say that we go ONLY by the statistics of welfare recipients. Granted, 60% of welfare recipients are Democrat. However, that means that out of 100 shoppers in that store 40 are possible EBT carrying Republicans. Seriously, your assertion that 0% of the people in that store using EBT cards are Republicans is just not possible due to the basic laws of probability.
you're being a bit disingenuous here: We are not simply talking about walmart shoppers. We are talking about walmart shoppers who collect benefits in a majority african american town
MANSFIELD, LA (KSLA) -
Shelves in Walmart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA were reportedly cleared Saturday night, when the stores allowed purchases on EBT cards even though they were not showing limits.
The chaos that followed ultimately required intervention from local police, and left behind numerous carts filled to overflowing, apparently abandoned when the glitch-spurred shopping frenzy ended.
Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd confirms they were called in to help the employees at Walmart because there were so many people clearing off the shelves. He says Walmart was so packed, "It was worse than any black Friday" that he's ever seen.
Lynd explained the cards weren't showing limits and they called corporate Walmart, whose spokesman said to let the people use the cards anyway. From 7 to 9 p.m., people were loading up their carts, but when the cards began showing limits again around 9, one woman was detained because she rang up a bill of $700.00 and only had .49 on her card. She was held by police until corporate Walmart said they wouldn't press charges if she left the food.
Lynd says at 9 p.m., when the cards came back online and it was announced over the loud speaker, people just left their carts full of food in the aisles and left.
That whole situation could have been handled better by Walmart in my opinion.
I guess they could just say no and let people starve to death. That's not terribly P.C., now is it?
another thread in which the far right gets to scream rant bitch moan and generally demonize the poor .
So very very predictable. How long will it take for the issue of race to rear its ugly head?

This issue only lasted for, like...a day? I'm not sure, but I think it's physically impossible to starve to death in a day.I guess they could just say no and let people starve to death. That's not terribly P.C., now is it?
I think you just did.
I skimmed through the first 10-ish pages and noticed something weird.
No one is talking about what they stole.
Food.
Yes, that's all they could steal. But there's really only one possible motivation for stealing food: not having enough, or not being sure you will in the near future.
