When you see a headline like that you know it will be one of two things. Some form of sexual assault or election cheating. This one is election cheating. Because they can't win without cheating and then they project their cheating onto their opposition.

A jury of six people found Seminole County GOP Chairman Ben Paris guilty on Thursday of causing his cousin’s name to be falsely listed on independent “ghost” candidate Jestine Iannotti’s campaign contribution forms in 2020.​

Paris was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 200 hours of community service for the misdemeanor and ordered to pay roughly $42,000 — the cost of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation into the apparent vote-siphoning scheme.​
 
Now they need to strip the victories from the republicans and hand them to the Democrats.
 
Zeldin, the gop candidate for Governor here in NY tried something similar. Support a third party candidate doing all the paper work out of the gop headquarters and submitting copied and invalid signatures. Because the gop has such high moral and ethical standards.
 
Looks like we finally found that “election fraud” the Republicans swear is real. And shocker, it’s the Republicans committing it.

Every Republican accusation is really just a confession.

Where IS the justice for stolen elections beyond convicting the thieves they can catch? It's not an easy question. Where would the line be drawn to call for new elections?

When someone is convicted of actually influencing the outcome.

And if I recall correctly those florida races were close enough that had the fake candidates not been a factor they most likely would have gone the other way.

A conviction for one vote in a race decided by thousands won't make a difference.

A conviction for a thousand votes in a race decided by few hundred can.
 
And what is the process for doing that analysis, and drawing that line? It's just not practical, and subject to its own corruption.

But these crimes don't necessarily involve clearly 'fraudulent votes'. They can involve 'influenced votes' impossible to count.
 
Just like the most proof of attempted election fraud was Trump's recorded phone call to the GA SoS. It's so obvious who the election fraud perpetrators are that it's beyond ridiculous to claim otherwise.
 
I remember this little piece of dirty work by the republicans, no low is too low in the 'effort' to win.

Sounds like the Russian interference in the 2016 election. How many people had their minds changed by the thousands of adds, fake news and BS that was all over Facebook?

And the MAGA are still claiming it was hoax. Hoax my ass.

Without social media and Fox news, Hillary would have easily won that election, despite her little email problem. But how will we ever know?

Right. There are good studies making a strong case that many more than the votes needed to change the election were changed by the Russian disinformation, but having that as a process to count votes and somehow re-run elections is something else.
 
That happened in Mesa AZ, Russell Pierce.

People who voted for a fake candidate were defrauded. Those votes are fraudulent. Not because of the people who cast them, but because of the criminal who disenfranchised them.

But showing which votes were changed by the disinformation isn't an option. You can't throw out every trump vote because someone lied.

No, there were all kinds of people who would vote for trump with or without the Russian disinformation, and no way to determine whether it changed their vote.
