First 6 Months: Trump Adds $3.5 Trillion To Debt, 10 Million Americans Lose Healthcare

"earn their healthcare"

Sickest phrase I have read as an adult.

In America do you have to earn the right to breathe?

In Canada health care is a constitutional right.....cradle to grave!

What? You thought only America had rights?

move to Canada then if you want those things I guess ??

CBO predictions are never right. Trump has only been president for 6 months this is still a Biden economy. The CBO does not account for increased GDP Tas revenues cuts and tariffs. Its more likely cuts will continue GDP will go up revenues will go up and tariffs ill bring in 200-300 billion a year.

A federal debt increase of $3.5 trillion over 10 years is a huge cut in annual deficit numbers compared to past deficits. The addition to the national debt in 2024 alone was $1.8 trillion.

That’s an incremental additional $3.5T on top of existing deficits.

You mean the reforms designed to kick people off medicaid who need it.
You don't like reforming Medicaid because everyone who receives benefits is entitled to them in perpetuity. Brilliant

No, I don't like kicking Americans off medicaid because our healthcare system is garbage and I don't hate Americans.

Provided they’re poor, they should have access to Medicaid, yes. That was the point of the Medicaid expansion, and these “reforms” are just back door attempts to repeal it and strip millions of Americans of their coverage. A perennial GOP goal.

There it is, you oppose Medicaid reform because our healthcare system is "garbage". Anyone who doesn't agree with you hates Americans. You're a perfect reflection of the Marxists currently running the Democrat party. A continuous, never ending tantrum.

You don't know what a marxist is; kicking Americans who need healthcare suggests you hate Americans. You're very on brand for maga.

And both numbers will undoubtedly be much higher.

Over the next decade, the megabill Trump signed on July 4 would increase the federal deficit by $3.4 trillion and cause 10 million people to lose health insurance, the Congressional Budget Office forecasts. While the newly enacted legislation would save more than $1 trillion by cutting federal spending on health care — with the majority coming from Medicaid — CBO predicts that the package’s costs will far outweigh its savings.

Wow - Stalinists sure lie a lot...

Wait until Medicaid cuts are Democrats' fault, even under the guise of "look at what you made us do!"

Medicaid cuts to illegal aliens? You still think that's a winner?

Republicans: We support the American People

democrats: We support illegal immigrants.

Clear distinction between the parties.

How is it determined if someone is poor enough to be eligible for Medicaid? By eligibility laws and regulations. You don't oppose reforming laws and regulations, do you? Do you believe reforms are only valid if they expand Medicaid dependency?

99.99% citizens.... this idea that federal medicaid is paid to a large number of illegals is idiotic and untrue.

The above is an outright lie.

Red Herring Fallacy. The fact change link does not support the lie that 99% of medicaid cuts will affect American citizens.

Factchange uses a straw man that only 1% of medicaid is used for EMERGENCY MEDICAID for illegals. Basically paying hospital bills when there is an accident or other trauma. So what? This is the sleight of hand chicanery Factchange and other sleazy leftist propagandists rely on for their disinformation.

California's "MediCal" does not consider immigration status when providing benefits. MediCal receives about 80% of it's funding from the federal government. Changing the name doesn't change the FACT that Medicaid funded MediCal is flowing freely to illegal aliens. This is but one example.

I'd trade ten maga for each undocumented person in this country. We'd be safer, more productive, and smarter.

That is the plot, isn't it? The democrat plan is to use illegals as colonists to end the Constitutional Republic.

But you're not supposed to be so blunt about it. Thank you for acknowledging that the plan is to end America - confirming that treason is the only thing democrat offer America.

Typical Marxist behavior to deny their own Marxism. Denying the rule of law in favor of Marxist social justice is very on brand.

There you go again, the problem isn't your unreasonable opposition to Medicaid reform. People who disagree with you are haters.

The rule of law usually doesn't involve electing a convicted criminal who rapes children.

I cannot be anymore transparent than I am about how little I think of maga. High five.

Yes, I oppose “reforms” intended to push up the uninsurance rate and strip millions of Americans of health care. The GOP’s ACA repeal schemes have never been popular and this crappy law is no exception.

Nor about how deeply you hate America.

Hey, maybe you could illegally immigrate to Mexico so you could live in a country you admire. I'm sure they'll give you free housing and medical care....

Another example that “Make America Great Again” is just a bumper sticker slogan, not a plan to actually greaten America.
