What in the hell are you talking about? Blacks are more confrontational "culturally"? This comments wreaks of naivety...
It's about cultural differences among the races. I can't see an Indian guy, an Anglo guy or an Asian guy fighting a cop in broad daylight in the middle of a street. Africans simply are more confrontational culturally as well as so extremely culturally unique that this equates to conflict with Western police forces.

Do you really think an Asian guy, an Indian guy or an Anglo guy would walk up to police officers like this with a knife completely sober?

What no one seems to understand here or perhaps is just unwilling to acknowledge is that all this protest is an accumulation of years of targeting and police abuse abuse of power. It's not about just this incident any more than the reaction to Trayvon Martin was about just that incident. How could anyone look at these events and not acknowledge that they are indicative of a greater problem. The real question is, what is the greater problem?

First of all, no it is not the same thing. It isn't even close to the same thing.
Some kid taking a gun to a group of innocent kids because of some personal psychological hell he might be suffering is completely different. Those kids are innocent.
This is more akin to a woman who finally retaliates against an abusive husband.
The people and businesses of Ferguson are guilty of what exactly, to have earned that retaliation?
I'm not saying that they acted in a way that was necessarily in their own best interest or that it was directed to a necessarily deserving party. I am saying that what fueled it is justified and I don't believe it's in anyone's best interest to dismiss that. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by a few unruly protesters or dismiss what is being protested because of a few unruly members
I do not in any way think that rioting and looting is justified.
I'm not saying what they are protesting is wrong (altho I dont think they're going to end up being justified in this case) but that is not the same as rioting and looting. Those are still wrong.

his own. so when someone attacks a police officer physically there is a good chance the attacker is trying to take the officer's weapon to use against him. It has happened many a time
