In Arizona, there is a paper trail for every vote cast within this state.

Simple solution.

All ballots use the ovals that are filled in.

All selections include both a write-in "other" and a "none of the above."

Voters need to be instructed to never leave a selection blank. Doing so allows alteration during the voting, or recounts.

Nevada is the only state that I'm aware of that has the "none of the above" choice.

In Arizona, election workers are forbidden to have black or blue pens when handling ballots.
