I'm fine with the civil disobedience to stand up for whatever you feel is right. But take the arrest, don't assault the police. Fight it in court not on the street.
When we get arrested by cops for suspicion of the most violent felonies, they are in unis, have badges, maybe even name tags. If not in uniform, they show ID or badge. In most instances, illegals are suspected of having committed a misdemeanor. Why the masks, the non identification, lack of uniforms by ICE agents?
That is worrisome...what it makes me think is that they aren't actually federal officers and are vigilantes that have connection to ICE agents. It needs to be REQUIRED that they have identification and that they identify who they are on request. When we get arrested by cops for suspicion of the most violent felonies, they are in unis, have badges, maybe even name tags. What if that doesn't work? The courts are part of the state. Bad government means bad courts.
Its customary for authoritarian rules to attack an independent judiciary.
If you concede an independent judiciary to be a good judiciary, you might should be concerned.
Why do the proud government agents hide their faces like Proud Boys?
I'm not familiar with ICE ever having had uniforms, all the way back to their inception. And people not in uniforms make arrests, including for the worst offenses, on a regular basis. The FBI, Secret Service, most state & local detectives, all wear plain clothes on the job. What's this sudden obsession with uniforms? When we get arrested by cops for suspicion of the most violent felonies, they are in unis, have badges, maybe even name tags. If you read my post, the absence of unis is not the issue, but the lack of identification.I'm not familiar with ICE ever having had uniforms, all the way back to their inception. I did read it. That's how I know you mentioned uniforms three times and in a manner that implied they are no less important than anything else you mentioned. If you read my post, the absence of unis is not the issue, but the lack of identification.
Don’t get your point: Uniforms are one of the things, along with ID’s and verbal communications that officials use to aid themselves to the public. The issue is letting those apprehended know who is taking them in and why, standard operating procedure. I used to live on the southern border, look Mexican to some, and hence was frequently stopped by INS (now ICE) agents in plain clothes. All of them said who they were and showed ID. Ditto the plainclothes cops who first pulled guns on me when I was suspected of planning to hijack struck.I did read it.
