The FBI announced Friday that Director Chris Wray has ordered an internal review of the handling of the bureau’s investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn, which will include examining whether current FBI employees "engaged in misconduct."
“FBI Director Christopher Wray today ordered the Bureau’s Inspection Division to conduct an after-action review of the Michael Flynn investigation,” the bureau said in a statement.
The review will be handled by the bureau’s Inspection Division, the FBI said. That division is similar to an internal affairs office in a police department.
The plot thickens. FBI Director Chris Ray wants to get to the bottom of all the **** bubbling around him
I can hear the sphincters slamming shut throughout the J. Edgar Hoover Building from here. :lamo
Ah, how sad. Do you need a tissue?More conservative noise and distraction. It's sickening, one after another and it's all nothing but bull**** and conspiratorial hoaxes.

Wow, massive amounts of "nuh-uh" coming from the left side of the forum. I must have scoured a direct hit on a Democult meeting. :lamo
Wow. Really got you, eh? Slobber pumps at max speed; commence slinging. :lamoYou can only DREAM of the day that YOU "score a direct hit on a Democrat meeting". That's funny too. You will never get over anything on a Democrat, your party is too filled with filthy lies and conspiracies that it's become a global joke.

It's disgusting that hold our finest low enforcement agency in such low esteem. It's also disgusting that you wouldn't want the head of the FBI to investigate internal wrongdoing.
And certainly you would welcome an FBI investigation now that Bill Barr has completely gutted it and took it over for Trump's benefit. Now, you would trust the FBI or CIA because Trump with the help of Barr has re-defined these once-value institutions as liars, conspirators and traitors and weakened these agencies that are so vital to our national security. But that's okay with you as long as you hear what it is Trump wants you to hear.
The way I remember it, Comey and the FBI reported to Loretta Lynch's DOJ. So, I assume you want it to be that same way with the FBI reporting to the DOJ.
It would make a big difference if the AG wasn't working solely for the will of the president and not for the people of this nation as he's been tasked to do.

I think Wray is feeling the heat and he's trying to make it look like he's doing something important. I don't expect anything from him more significant that finding a low level scapegoat or two so he can say, "See? I'm doing something."
In any case, the real crooks are already out of the FBI and he can't touch them. Hell, he, like Horowitz, can't even make them come talk to him.
But that's what we have Durham and his grand jury for, so yeah...let him go through his motions while Trump decides who to put into the FBI Director job when he kicks Wray to the curb.

Looks like Grenell's promised release of the full transcripts and/or summaries (FBI's selective parts of a phone conversation ) of Flynn's conversations with Kislyak have triggered that new review.
If I understand correctly, the FBI (Comey) did not give the DNI the complete conversation of December 29, but rather a "summary" they had "formed" to their liking ...

@MZHemingway
Not all transcripts are under DNI jurisdiction. Phone call that was criminally leaked widely and repeatedly to media to spur Russia collusion hoax, Flynn firing, eventual Flynn prosecution was not distributed to rest of intelligence community outside of FBI, for example.

@RichardGrenell
True. The IC doesn’t have all the transcripts/summaries....it wasn’t our product. It’s odd that @AdamSchiff
doesn’t know this. But I already started the declassification for the few we received. They should be released in full, though. The public deserves to see it.

And Grenell's response to Swalwell wanting Flynn's conversations:
@RichardGrenell
Those are coming. It’s very important for the public to see ALL of them. For too long the public has been misled. Just compare your committee’s transcripts to your public statements! #troubling
