Father of slain kid at school speaks to the press

It's okay. Everyone can see you're at a complete loss, and the last thing you want to do is engage in a gun control conversation with bad ol' RF.

Your partisanship has you believing that the ONLY way someone is expressing concern, is if they are voting in opposition to your tribal enemy.

So you retreat into spamming a bunch of posts and numbering them for some reason, making shit up...and making personal comments.

I'm not interested in talking about gun control on this thread, which is about the parents' reaction to their child's killing by a shooter.

Nor am I particularly interested in having much if anything at all to do with a person who denigrated my concern for my grandkids - and for all the children in this country - thusly:

That's just a simplistic, tribal, partisan slogan. Nothing more.

Thanks to your words, @RF667799, we all now know who and what you are. There's no reason for me to continue to converse with a person who expresses such contempt for my concerns for schoolchildren, including my own grandkids.

It might because, after all, you keep voting for this shit and cheering for lib/woke tears, of which there's an abundance after a mass shooting but I wouldn't expect people who prioritize gun rights over the rights of people to feel safe in their homes and workplaces to quite understand. Philosophical differences, then, I guess.

What did I vote for?

Why do you think people have a claim on other people to make them feel better? That's wild. I would feel safer if I had a fenced estate on a private island mid-river. Who is supposed to satisfy my right to feel safe like that?

No one wants to take away your penis extender.
Why are anti-civil rights gun control advocates always so obsessed with genitalia?
If you’re so terrified of life that clutching a big gun gives you some tiny illusion of safety, then by all means—do you.

But let’s be honest: as a nation we’ve collectively decided we’re fine with children being blown apart, as long as a certain group of people—so afraid of their own shadows—get to surround themselves with their beloved penis extenders. (Maybe that’s why they hate trans people so much… makes you wonder.)

Nothing will change. Kids will keep being murdered in classrooms, while we keep piling up more guns.
Such is the American way

Wow. All this because you claimed to not be talking about gun control, but you were shown to have brought it up three times.

Almost as funny as that other poster who was all "Who's mocking thoughts and prayers?" All indignant and shit.

Then when I brought receipts that had him doing exactly that, tried to excuse it on the basis of it's okay if you're mocking the enemy tribe!

I really do want to thank you guys for the prime entertainment.

Wow. How clumsy. You quoted me. You made a claim as to what I was referencing. But you neglected to post what I was actually responding to:

"Why on earth would I vote for Republicans, the party of "gun rights", when I have grandchildren in schools? Geezus, I care about them. (And I care about all the other schoolchildren, too.)"

Keep baiting. It's hilarious to watch, but I'm not interested in commenting on your concern for your grandkids at all.

Just that your concern in general seems weighed down with partisan baggage. It's like the partisanship is the point.

I think they might be attracted to us. They think we exude masculinity they can discern across the reaches of the 'net.

What other rights would you like to take away because of criminals?

You're highlighting the part you claim my comment references. That's your edit. Not mine.

I see no relevance between my comment and the part YOU highlighted of your words.

But Why on earth would I vote for Republicans, the party of "gun rights"... is another matter. My post references that.

You're baiting...which is ironic because you're also floundering. 😆

I've copied and pasted the progression of the posts. Interesting that you've not done the same thing.

Too bad in Post #59 you denigrated my concern for my grandchildren - and for all schoolchildren - as

I've not questioned the "progression of the posts".

You either didn't read my post, didn't understand it, or are just trying to desperately keep baiting.

I'm so sorry for your loss Jesse.

RIP Fletcher.
Such a beautiful child taken much too soon, as was Harper. None of us knows what these and other children might have accomplished or contributed to our society. We imagine what our children will become in those precious moments after their births. All parents have hopes and dreams for their children to live their best lives and to be happy and loved as much as we love them. Seeing their bodies blown up and torn apart by weapons whose bullets are meant to destroy the human body is a memory their parents will carry to their graves. I refuse to accept this as our legacy to my children, my grandchildren, anyone's children or loved ones. For those who disagree with me may your god have mercy on your souls.

You brought up the whole transgender thing — which makes me wonder: are you worried she might be packing more heat than you, metaphorically or otherwise? I get it. Insecurity dressed up as bravado is nothing new.

Textbook psychology, really.
“My gun is big, therefore I am big. Don’t take away my big big!”
It's not overcompensation... It’s a lifestyle!

rest ashore, no one will take your big, big away!

Anybody who fantasizes about killing children is pathetic, no matter how much “heat” they are packing.
