....the day before...

It all unfolded around 10 a.m. Thursday when Cincinnati police officers with the department's fugitive apprehension unit responded to a call about a stolen Kia.
"Six quick seconds," Cincinnati Police Chief Terri Theetge said, saying that's how fast the entire situation unfolded.
As officers approached, Theetge said four people fled from the vehicle, with at least one of them armed with a gun.
The suspect who had a gun slipped, with officers saying they heard the gun hit the concrete.
Once the suspect got up and ran between a set of dumpsters, another officer who was chasing another person came in contact with the armed suspect and fired 4 to 5 shots.
Caught the bodycam on the news, and not fully revealing. Wait to see what comes of it.

But betting that semi-retired deputy doing traffic control never had to shoot anyone, and didn't have shit to do with your son being shot after he flees a stolen vehicle with a firearm.

Grief and anger are powerful emotions, and they both went unchecked here.

It's a horrible tragedy all around. The worst part are the ghouls who are celebrating the death of the police officer, like it was somehow justified. The police recovered a glock with a 33 round extended magazine at the scene of the officer involved shooting. No reason to think he did not point it at the officers. I'm sure close examination of the bodycam footage will catch it happening.
