This was from a few days ago but haven’t seen a post about it.

The murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a train in North Carolina last month has sparked ongoing concerns about crime in the US.
A video released on Friday by the Charlotte Area Transit System shows Ms Zarutska seated on a train when she is stabbed from behind several times in what appears to be a random attack.

Notice that someone from across the pond is more informed than someone who relies on the NYTimes. Wikipedia tried to scrub it too. There are threads on this.

The lefttard media is back to doing their thing. Politics first! Mostly Ignoring it or saying very little about this vicious crime.

How do you and others know the "leftard media" is ignoring or saying very little about this?

Be specific. Provide details.

I have to applaud President Trump for taking a big public stand on this senseless killing. This shouldn't have happened. It would have continued to happen though if the Democrats continue to have their way, appointing progressive leftist judges who are light on holding criminals accountable.

Always nice when Trump pretends to care about a tragic incident and then turns it political. Can't just leave it as is. Yes, he really cares. Go ahead. Applaud until your hands fall off. Apparently that's what's happening to Trump these days.

Sorry to say but it seems like you're politicizing this tragic incident. Can't just leave it. Yes, you really care. Go ahead.

I don't need your permission to applaud the POTUS.

A brutal, brutal murder. So very sad to see this young Ukrainian woman die like that.

Not only brutal, but senseless. The perpetrator did not even know the victim, much less have any reason (valid or otherwise) for stabbing her multiple times in the neck, and then calmly pacing up and down until the train reached the next station.

What also surprises me is the fact that no one else noticed or reacted, despite his pacing up and down dripping the victim's blood from his hand and blade. Not even an attempt to seek to preserve the victim's life. This was perhaps a combination of fear, and the New York example where the good Samaritan was criminally charged with the unintentional death of the threatening suspect.

It looks as if it's already been "politicized", at least on this thread. Case in point: Post #5.

I know because personally, I had a difficult time finding much from the leftard media regarding Trump's sincere interest in this tragedy other than their criticism of him. Brian Stelter from CNN comes to mind.

Stelter: Comments About Murder Of Ukrainian Refugee Are "Baldly Racist," The "Open Racism" On X Is Eye-Popping
LOL....no, you don't. You cannot "know" what the "leftard media" has reported about for a very obvious reason: you lack access to many of the msm sources.

So, your pronouncement on what the "leftard media" has or has not reported is without a basis in fact.

No, you confuse Trump's tough on crime policy, the hallmark of his presidency, and the lack of a tough crime policy demonstrated by leftist judges, that led to this poor woman's needless savage murder.

Not at all. I'm pointedly talking about your "politicizing" this tragedy in Post #5:

Cry mor. You asked, and I answered. Don't like the answer, or the label I used for the Anti-Trump legacy media, that's your problem.

I pointed out you have no way of ascertaining what the "leftard media" is reporting, because you don't have access to many of the msm sources (due to paywalls).

(No "crying" on my point. In fact, I'm reveling in the fact you cannot support your claim about the "leftard media".)

Telling the truth is not politicization. You should read up and find out why exactly this career criminal was released dozens of times for crimes, and by whom.

90% of the American media is like public relations firm for the corrupt Democrat Party.
That is why this murder case was not a political or racial issue for the sheep press.
If the races we're reversed it would be a big international news story.
But the murder victim is the wrong color.
The Left has no integrity.

Whether you admit it or not, it's apparent your very own Post #5 "politicized" this tragedy:

But, hey, go ahead and deny what you've written (above). I'm not at all surprised you are trying to reframe your words.

I pointed out you have no way of ascertaining what the "leftard media" is reporting, because you don't have access to many of the msm sources (due to paywalls).
You asked me a question and I answered and provided a link as support for my pov. I suggest you read it instead of going on saying I didn't ascertain to your satisfaction. This reflects badly on you.
(No "crying" on my point. In fact, I'm reveling in the fact you cannot support your claim about the "leftard media".)
You're lying.

Go badger someone else. I don't owe you more than an honest answer to your original question.

There is a thread about this topic.

Edit
Couple of points if I may
President Donald Trump sent "love and hope" to Ms Zarutska's family, saying on Monday that her killing was "horrible".
Why was she a refugee, dear felon? You said you would end this war.
"There are evil people. We have to be able to handle that. If we don't handle that, we don't have a country," he said.
Of course he uses this tragedy...
Outrage at the case comes as President Donald Trump threatens crime crackdowns in Democrat-run cities.

North Carolina Governor Josh Stein said he was "appalled" by the footage of Ms Zarutska's killing.
"We need more cops on the beat to keep people safe," the Democratic governor said on X, and called for the state legislature to pass a law enforcement package to "address vacancies in our state and local agencies so they can stop these horrific crimes and hold violent criminals accountable".
Do we really, Josh?
Or should we have a system in place that takes care of people like Brown or Neele?
These people are not political fodder, they are human beings.
To think we pretend to be a christian nation.
