Russia can afford the losses. They lost 35 times that number of troops fighting the Nazis and at the end of the day they were the first to reach Berlin. Ukraine can’t go on like this forever, but Russia has all the time in the world to grind down the Ukrainian nationalists and Nazis. And remember, it isn’t just Ukraine. It’s Ukraine as materially supported by the very best intelligence, weaponry, strategists, and financing a coalition of 30+ nations has to offer. And they’re losing.

Russia doesn’t need quick wins or a low body count. They just never stop coming until there is no one left to fight them. On the other side is delusional Dictator Zelensky, who sacks anyone who tells him the truth.
