Do you find this unusual? It's not.

Legislators almost NEVER write their own bills. It's always done by lobbyists. Doesn't matter if it's a Dem bill or a Rep bill. All the Congressmen do is sell the bill to their constituents and other Congressmen.

And if the constituents don't like it, then it depends upon how politically vulnerable that Congressman is whether they will vote for or against it.

And the Congressmen who are successful in selling the lobbyist's bill...well, they are rewarded.

It's all about money and power.

What's scary is the Teacher's Union writing the CDC guidelines.

It really can't be any other way, because politicians in general don't know anything about anything. Their only real skill is figuring out how to live off of the taxpayer.

It didn't used to be that way.

As I said, it's all about power and money. Congressmen aren't interested in being legislators.
