Former President Donald Trump, the leading GOP candidate in 2024, is formally backing the Republican National Committee (RNC) “Bank Your Vote” initiative to push to get as many Republicans nationwide to vote early in 2024, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

“Radical Democrats have abused and taken advantage of absentee and early voting laws to build a big lead over Republicans before election day,” Trump says in a new video recorded for the RNC and provided to Breitbart News exclusively.

“While Republicans have worked to share our beautiful values with voters, Democrats and dangerous groups funded by the far left have simply focused on collecting ballots. That’s all they wanted to do—collecting ballots. But you know what? It turned out to be not such a bad idea.

This must change for us to win in 2024. We may not like the current system, but we need to master the rules and beat the Democrats at their own game, and then we can make our own rules. Republicans must get tougher and fight harder to cast our votes and get our ballots turned in earlier so Democrats can’t rig the polls against us on election day. We cannot let that happen. They rigged the election in 2020—we cannot let that happen in 2024.”

I vote early by mail, have since forever, but I always assumed Trump was code-talking to lib-progs when he bashed voting early or by mail in 2020, trying to lessen their vote in a typically genius manner, but now I'm not sure.

Well, it did backfire. Good to see him finally admit it.

I've always voted mail-in because we used to travel a lot out of the country at that time of the year. I never changed my preference. If I am in town, I like to bring the ballot in the mailing envelope to the polls on election day and put it in the ballot box.

At least this means the 2024 vote count shouldn't be so controversial as the 2020 one.

Anyone who tampers with mail-ballots and its counting is a criminal and sentenced to prison.

Trump is simply acknowledging what people in the party have been saying for a couple years now. The rules for how we vote have changed. You have to change with them.

It is good to hear Trump say that Democrats voting early and by mail racked up the votes for Biden at least. Previously he has claimed that those votes were fraudulent and the election was stolen by those votes. But his flock will ignore this admission as usual.

The rules haven't "changed". Trump, stupidly, discouraged his voters from using the full range of available voting options, and predictably - he lost!

You want to encourage your voters to vote, making it as easy and convenient as possible. I used to do GOTV. I was shocked to see what he was doing to his supporters. It went against everything you want to do. Never discourage your voters!
