Ex-Army National Guardsman (incl deployment to Afghanistan & three years of active duty in Europe) urges active duty members to ignore unlawful orders

Gonna need confirmation this is real.

The problem is, does the average person in uniform know what an unlawful order is? They're soldiers, not lawyers and not law enforcement officers. Their commander gives them an order and they know that unless it's to open fire on a crowd for no apparent reason at all, they probably must assume that they're being given lawful orders to stop, detain, interrogate, and search people as directed.

Bad idea and stupid.

Those actions could have negative consequences.
Which means that you are promoting that our military follow illegal orders.

Another example of how you are becoming trump.

You aren't in the position to declare the orders illegal and neither is Raider.

Yet the president doesn't mind breaking them, and is in a position to do so.

My understanding is the "I was only following orders" defense doesn't work so well anymore.

I guess if everybody ignores the Constitution then that will be fun for MAGA.
