Some woman - one of the organizers of today’s riot - I mean demonstration - was just on FOX repeating the standard line that the idea of the objections to the election certification is to allow the American people to hear the evidence themselves.

What in holy hell is she expecting? I watched the certification this afternoon and all I saw was people making vague, unsupported assertions no different from what we’ve all heard from Trump.

I ask again what evidence?

First off, who gives a shit if the American people hear the evidence. At least at this stage. If courts don't find any credible evidence in the complaints then the "evidence" isn't what the Trumpists think it is.

When a judge rules on a motion to dismiss, he/she asks whether the complaint states a claim for relief (can win) even assuming every factual assertion in it is true.
