Missouri Senate candidate Lucas Kunce and former House Representative Adam Kinzinger had a range day photo shoot yesterday where a reporter ended up getting hit by shrapnel.

Kunce tried to play it off by crediting the team for bringing first aid, and presented some photos of the event. On seeing the photos it became clear that nobody at the event knew the first thing about gun safety... or safety in general.

In order of stupid:

Wearing eye protection on top of your head... stupid.. but stupid that will only hurt Adam Kinzinger.

Looking through a long range scope for a short range target is less safe than iron sights. He probably couldn't even see the target at that range through that scope...

No berm to stop rounds that miss the targets....

Firing a rifle at steel targets at 10 yards... very stupid.. your are risking shrapnel rebounding which is exactly what happened...

Having two canisters of Tannerite on the table while firing at 10 yards? All they would need is for that shrapnel to hit one of these containers causing the compounds to mix and they are all dead.

Did Adam Kinzinger get upset and cry about it?

Yeah, a whole lotta stupid at that event. Lucky no one was more seriously hurt or worse.

political candidates trying faking what they know and are to pander for votes ... some people speak in accents to do it, pretend they worked places they didn't , say they have guns when they don't .... these two look like they've not shot guns much

Sadly stupid is a repeat offender. Glad nobody died.

Democrats do things like this or go “pheasant hunting” and we are supposed to believe they are pro-2A.

This isn’t the pro-2A gun culture. This is a bunch of buffoons playing a backboard.

More info here:

BTW, if you have a “first aid kit” handy, why are you using your belt to hold the dressing in place? Sounds Iike someone wasn’t as prepared as he really should have been for a day at “the range”.

Making Democrats' campaign ads for them.

My eyes aren't so good, but I keep looking to the right of the guy in the blue shirt. Is that not a pistol, laying on the table, pointed at blue shirt guy's crotch? Or is that a "silencer" just laying loose? What IS that? It appears that all other weapons are either pointed downrange, or at least cross-range. That one item, be it a pistol or whatever, is pointed right back at everyone (mis)using the range.

My best guess is it's a pistol-grip AR-15 and the thing that looks like a suppressor is the buffer tube. If so, it is pointed safely downrange. Or as safely as this whole setup can be considered.

They are indeed, there is no-one to the right of the guy in the blue shirt.

Lucas Kunce, the guy who set this all up, and the one who was shooting when the accident happened is the DEMOCRAT candidate for US Senate in Missouri.

Kinzinger was a Republican representative from Illinois who became Liz Cheney’s best buddy and joined forces with the Democrats. As a reward, the Democrats in the Illinois state government redistricted him out of a job.

So, basically two Democrats shooting guns unsafely.

For more fun, read the responses on Kunce’s X feed. Not only being an idiot with guns but then posting it on social media. :ROFLMAO:

I think they're trying to show stupid people that being around guns will cause you to die I would argue being around guns and also not understanding of the danger that it's inherent with it if you don't follow guidelines can cause you to get hurt.

No that's not a gun pointing at his crotch that's actually a pistol brace something the ATF said is a federal crime to have.

A pistol braces attached to the stock end not the muzzle end of a fire arm.

They are indeed, there is no-one to the right of the guy in the blue shirt.
He wasn't referring to someone who is referring to something a firearm. If it's laying on a table and it's pointed at you that's violation of the golden rule of firearms.

I think in the picture that's actually a pistol brace so the guns pointing away from him.

It's almost as if there should be some form of legally enforced regulations about how firearms are handled and used.

Unless you have police there enforcing it such laws would be useless.

They're already guidelines on safety they were just too stupid to familiarize themselves with it.

But there is no-one to the right of the guy in the blue shirt, which was claimed.

Once again rich is playing his little trolling games.

It’s funny that you think this little bit of yours does anything but make you look foolish and starved for attention.

But then I guess it’s not as bad as your little post/delete/repost bit. Now that’s just sad.

Still no-one.

Again he wasn't referring to someone he was referring to something.

He never indicated that there was someone standing next to him.
which was claimed.
No you inferred incorrectly.

It's kind of like your shotguns aren't portable nonsense I know you're just never going to admit you made a mistake. But you inferred something that wasn't there you made the mistake pretending that you didn't will not save face. It just makes you look ridiculous
