WASHINGTON -- One at a time, Rep. Darrell Issa held up a thick wiretap application form and slammed it on his dais in the elaborate House Judiciary Committee hearing room. Each time the Vista, Calif., Republican angrily read out loud the dates: May 15, 2010, April 19, 2010, May 7, 2010, May 17, 2010, June 2, 2010, and July 2, 2010. All of them, he said, “before Brian Terry was gunned down.”
The packages were proof, Issa contended, that the Department of Justice in Washington and perhaps the Obama White House were aware of the flawed tactics in the ATF’s Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation in Arizona that allowed more than 2,000 firearms to “walk” into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.
Eric Holder grilled over Fast and Furious in Congress - latimes.com
Anyone questioning the corruption that is the Obama administration need only look at DoJ these days, and more importantly, Eric Holder himself...He is a glaring jewel of progressive thinking that everyone outside the Obama administration is stupid, and can't see his lies for what they are....Criminal.

Jebus, are y'all still whining about this?! :lamo
Yeah, you're right....Corruption...NO BIG DEAL! As long as it is demo's....
j-mac

Holder should be in prison. The whole "Fast and Furious" scandal just reeks of deception and corruption and the DOJ just turns it's eyes away, doing little to find the real truth.
In my amateur analysis I think he is running blocker for Obama himself. See, I think that Barry thought if anything went wrong, they could blame it on Bush and the whole 'wide reciever' thing. Trouble is, Bush actually tracked the weapons they did, and they let Mexico in on the plan.....Obama didn't. See, he thought what a great idea to start doing away with the 2nd Amendment....Til Terry died that is....Now they are in hot water, and that dishonest puke Holder is criminal in his prosecution of office these days.

I understand your anger. It remind me of the Iran Contra affair... oh wait, that was Reagan, never mind.
Nothing similar....But don't let that stop you Mr. Undisclosed.....

More similar that you want to admit, but don't let the truth get in your way, you seldom do.

Poor Eric got amnesia pretty quick didn't he.
Issa has caught him in his own lie, which at one time could have been solved with simple truth, and an admission that the program was dumb. Now he has compounded things greatly by trying to protect his boss's involvement, and the true reason for the program. We have to remember the time frame of this undertaking and what was going on in the country. Obama and Pelosi were having trouble ramming through the HC bill, and facing the prospect of having to buy off members of their own caucus to get it done. They needed a distraction, and what better than an assault on the 2nd Amendment to achieve that and divert the right wings attention from pointing out the glaring unconstitutionality of this law, which will now be decided in the SCOTUS.
We should not allow any group this utterly dishonest to run anything of power.

Didn't he testify under oath? They need to get a special prosecutor and go after him for perjury and criminally negligent manslaughter.
ATF gunwalking scandal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia... With assurance from ATF "that Mexican officials would be conducting surveillance or interdictions when guns got to the other side of the border",[24] Detty would sell a total of about 450 guns during the operation.[22] These included AR-15s, semi-automatic AK-pattern rifles, and Colt .38s. The vast majority of the guns were eventually lost as they moved into Mexico. ...
proceed with impeachment of holder for his misrepresentations to congress. hope that is successful
but the reich wingers are engaging in more hypocrisy when they want to whine about gunwalking operations. those activities were begun on the bush watch, allowing weapons to be lost after they were taken into mexico:

Pure despicable lies. The Godwining alone should be enough to thoroughly dismiss your posting as little more than trolling.

At the time, under the Bush administration Department of Justice (DOJ), no arrests or indictments were made. After President Barack Obama took office in 2009, the DOJ reviewed Wide Receiver in September 2009[26] and found that guns had been allowed into the hands of suspected gun traffickers. Indictments began in 2010, over three years after Wide Receiver concluded. As of October 4, 2011, nine people had been charged with making false statements in acquisition of firearms and illicit transfer, shipment or delivery of firearms.[18] As of November, charges against one defendant had been dropped; five of them had pled guilty, and one had been sentenced to one year and one day in prison. Two of them remained fugitives.[23]
Another, smaller probe occurred in 2007 under the same ATF Phoenix field division. It began when the ATF identified Mexican suspects who bought weapons from a Phoenix gun shop over a span of several months. The probe ultimately involved over 200 guns, a dozen of which were lost in Mexico. On September 27, 2007, ATF agents saw the original suspects buying weapons at the same store and followed them toward the Mexican border. The ATF informed the Mexican government when the suspects successfully crossed the border, but Mexican law enforcement were unable to track them.[4][10]
Less than two weeks later, on October 6, William Newell, then ATF's special agent in charge of the Phoenix field division, shut down the operation at the behest of William Hoover, ATF's assistant director for the office of field operations.[27] No charges were filed. Newell, who was special agent in charge from June 2006 to May 2011, would later play a major role in Operation Fast and Furious.[4][24]
