This is why I openly hate and loath eminent domain. I dont buy into this public good bull**** its nothing but theft and nothing more
 
Its about time this story got more attention. About the only time I think eminent domain should be used is to build a local highway. It most definitely should not be used to take property from one person and give it to another. And why on earth is a foreign private company being allowed to use eminent domain in the first place? WTF over.
 
The people trying to use eminent domain in this case should have all their property seized for a penny

Because it pertains to oil, and oil companies get immunity from democratic processes.

Unless a whole lot of people stand up and fight it, the government will continue to ignore the rights of individuals and will rule in favor of their corporate overlords.
