The federal govt is offering states "extra help" in protecting the US electoral system from possible foreign hacking (aka. "The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!")
Elections security: Federal help or power grab? - POLITICO
This is an ominous slippery slope - such federal intervention in state and local democratic processes could end up subverting the American democratic system. The behavior of the IRS towards certain conservative groups in trying to audit them merely because of the political views they identify with, is ample precedent on how power can be abused.
Americans should be vigilant against such dangerous trends now emerging.

Good! Does this mean no more fictional characters, illegals/foreigners, multi-state residents or dead people can vote.Better get your ID's handy, there is a line forming.

I suspect the powers that be have been controlling election results for some time.
LOL now it is a problem just because the Russians are being blamed? It was a problem in 2000 and ever since, but nooo that was nothing...
And in 2000 before Barack Obama took office, were the feds sent in to oversee? You can make light of it, however, when Loretta Lynch our Attorney General is allowed to meet privately with Bill Clinton while Hillary is under investigation and nothing becomes of it - you have to wonder what else this executive team is capable of. I mean, we've been talking about this as a conspiracy for months now and as you watch it unfolding, those who saw it coming are saying - yep here it is. I personally don't care what side of the fence you are on, certainly you do advocate for a fair election. Comey as the Director of the FBI has taken all kinds of heat over being unwilling to indict Hillary Clinton, He is under the thumb of the President. The President clearly does not want Trump to win. There is bias there no matter what you say and bias needs to stay as far away from the election as possible.
I'm more concerned with the situation that Chris Matthews describes in my city. I see nothing in place that prevents this from happening from when he said it in 2011:
"In 2011, on his show Hardball, he explained a common scheme: “People call up, see if you voted or you’re not going to vote. Then all of a sudden somebody does come and vote for you. "
Just the last election we received such a call.

No but the UN was around the 2004 and 2008 elections and commented on the issues on security and impartiality... that has got to hurt no?
And no one that is sane wants Trump to win.. I bet even the dodgy voting machines in Ohio are being set to, to vote for Hilary or Johnson.
WHAT was a "problem in 2000"?
The UN considers the DPRK elections to be free and clean.
What is DPRK?
Jeh Johnson will have his people there to see that the dead aren't disenfranchised. No one in the current administration wants an honest election.
When you make the comment that no one sane wants trump to win, I no longer can take you seriously. No but the UN was around the 2004 and 2008 elections and commented on the issues on security and impartiality... that has got to hurt no?
