Not impeaching Bush shows American's are as bad as other nations say we are.I will choose election. The Constitution's impeachment mechanisms should not be employed to settle policy differences or to avenge old political scores. Otherwise, its integrity will be eroded and the entire U.S. political system would be worse off for it.
As for the issue of peace, obtaining peace will depend not just on the policies of whomever is elected but also on the circumstances that the nation faces. Not every state is benign and not every state will honor U.S. overseas interests or respect U.S. allies. The same applies for non-state actors. Hence, a President's desire for peace is not sufficient to bring it about, given factors that are beyond the direct control of the President.

As for "honor" and "respect", you've got that backwards. It's the US that needs to respect the borders of sovereign nations.
We have to send a message to the world we can clean our own house. Bush doesn't deserve to go quietly off in the sunset. He needs to be booted out of office for his "High crimes and misdomeaners". Impeachment is the only way we can do that.Impeachment is a waste of time at this point. Let's have the election, kick the Bushneviks to the curb, and make sure the Neocons never rear their traitorous heads, ever again. Failing that, then we deserve what we get.

We can have both!
There have been many impeachment proceedings that have started throughout this country in many counties and districts, we just have a Congress that has no balls and doesn't represent the common American. They are loyal to big business and special interest groups that don't give a damn about average American's. But since we have a bunch of stupid, dumb-****, narcissistic, TV watching idiots as a republic, we can't seem to break this endless cycle of non-representation. We need to be a well-informed republic in order to take back our nation and restore it to a democracy. Instead of the current oligarchy.Very well, and who will start the petition for the impeachment process? Any volunteer?
What? Hey! why do you run with the tail hidden between your legs?...oh sheeesss! it wans't your tail...oooffff!...get out of here!

What a ****in' lie! This from the guy who wants to militarily invade Sudan whether or not the world approves?
While I do fully believe Bush to be guilty of Treason, Mass Murder, Lying Under Oath, Fraud, Torture, and National Embezzlement...
I also believe in a fair trial.
I think that he and his staff should be tried for his crimes and let the Jury (Congress) decide after the prosecution and defense have presented their arguments.
I also believe that Bush's time served as President should make him immune to the death penalty. But he should definitely serve life in a federal prison if found guilty.
However, none of this is more important than moving forward.
And Bush should be arrested now, not after a new election.
I also do not believe an American President should be handed over to any International court to be tried for war crimes at any time.
What a ****in' lie!
Show the post where I said that.
SHOW IT!
I forgot about that.I do not lie.
