Trump is going to fire up his lawyer team he had on standby to start challenges/lawsuits.
The Trump campaign has released a statement saying it has filed a lawsuit in Michigan asking the state to halt counting until it receives “meaningful access” to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process.
CNN teams in Michigan have not seen evidence that the suit has actually been filed but continue to check.
While the Trump campaign has said that lawsuit has been filed in the Michigan Court of Claims, docket clerk for the Court of Claims, Morgan Adams, told CNN that the court has not received the filing.
And he looks like a hypocrite because he tried to stop one that jill stein requested in 2016.Apparently they will request recount of WI.
Cost $3 million and won't happen for a couple of weeks.
Last time around the recount netted him a grand total of...
131 votes.
Well I think we all see the trend going on, WI has been called for Biden, he's leading in just enough states that if everything goes as is currently projected, he'll get 270.
That means Trump is going to fire up his lawyer team he had on standby to start challenges/lawsuits. So I thought I'd make a thread where in we can post updates to the challenges and lawsuits moving forward for the 2020 Presidential Election Cycle.

Well I don't think we've had recounts that have actually overturned the result of an election, but there's so many close races here, who knows.Dont see where there will be enough document-able legal issues for them to actually succeed in a challenge.
Well he's got WI, MI, and PA now.Trump campaign files lawsuits targeting Pennsylvania vote count

There will likely be more.
Justice for Jill! And he looks like a hypocrite because he tried to stop one that jill stein requested in 2016.
Nobody cares about jill. Trumps hypocrisy is the issue. He wants to recount some votes and to not count other votes. He needs to be consistent.Justice for Jill!
?? What's the hypocrisy? And he looks like a hypocrite because he tried to stop one that jill stein requested in 2016.
No. The issue is not counting votes after election day. It's ballots received after election day.The interesting thing about the PA lawsuit is that it seems that Trump is going to the SCOTUS for this. The last time SCOTUS refused to rule on the counting votes after the election day, but now he has his new judge, so it seems that he might get his way.
The Republicans seem to fear counting votes.
Good call. Trump immediately announced a challenge as soon as Wisconsin was called. I admit, my hopes for reform of the Republican party have been dashed.

That is much less likely than you making up conspiracy theory nonsense.A recount must be granted if the win is less than 1% - and Wisconsin does not certify an election until Dec 1st. So Democrats in state government and every Democratic election division have almost a month to create enough ballots to push it past 1% to block a recount. Figure that will happen.
This might be worth a challenge.
