Note: he does not plead for a strong American reaction; he does not ask for one; he expects one! This Chaplinesque character's sense of entitlement is truly astounding. He cannot shake it off. Apparently he learned nothing after the debacle at the Oval Office.

Ukraine expects a strong response from its international partners, particularly the United States, in the wake of Russia's latest record-breaking mass strike, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening address on Sept. 7.

Exactly what kind of strong reaction is the Duce expecting from what in his book has to be a vassal?

Congress is also demanding action from the White House.....

What sort of action do they expect Trump to take? And if there are ways to cripple Russia still on the table, why didnt Biden employ them?

Trump should display his strong flair for strongly warning Russia it is strongly inviting a strong reaction from him. 😀

The only thing that will happen is a whole lot of talking... and then Trump largely staying out of the way of Putin's war crimes.

What would you like him to do?

Who? Trump, does not matter what I would like him to do, at this point he will largely let Putin carry on.

Much stronger sanctions on Russia's energy sector and its banking system.

Lindsey Graham and many fellow Republicans also have a bill about punishing any country buying Russian oil. 500% sanctions.

They have been waiting months for Trump to give them permission to proceed.

And if there are ways to cripple Russia still on the table, why didnt Biden employ them?

Biden was almost useless when it came to Ukraine. Timid and feckless.

ya more sanctions.. that'll work. It's already damaged US/India ties

I suspect Trump wanted a chance to work his magic on Putin. But it failed. So maybe we will see some movement on the bill in congress. Still not sure whether it will have any real impact on Putin. There are some things that are just beyond our control.

Too bad we have a Putin ass-kisser in the WH instead of a patriotic pro-democratic president.
Trump was going to end the war in a day!!!
Trump promised there would be "severe consequences" if he left Alaska without a ceasefire.
Guess not.

Meanwhile, the murder continues.

The 500% sanctions bill would (as of today) apply to China, India, and Brazil.

But the Trump administration always provides the excuse that it is working on trade agreements with these countries and strong sanctions for buying Russian oil would be counterproductive.

That said, choking off Putin's means to finance his war is the only way the Russo-Ukraine war will end. Putin won't stop unless/until he is forced to stop.

EU and US officials meet as Trump says he is ready to impose further sanctions on Russia
The EU’s most senior sanctions envoy is holding talks in Washington with US officials after Donald Trump said he was ready to take further action against Russia over the war in Ukraine.
David O’Sullivan, the EU sanctions envoy, is meeting US counterparts on Monday, as Europe and the US look for tougher measures to weaken Vladimir Putin’s war machine after Russia launched its largest-ever air attack on Ukraine over the weekend.
Ahead of those meetings, the head of the European Council, António Costa, hailed transatlantic cooperation over sanctions against Russia and said it was clear that the US remained engaged in supporting Ukraine.

Yay.

Many here are disgruntled so there is absolutely nothing that he could do nor any direction that would satisfy even though he is doing much more than his predecessors.

In this article I read that several senators hired and funded by Globalists Deep State bosses are collectively barking their “strong response” to Russian strike . I don’t see where is there a “Senate demanding action”.

"Globalists Deep State bosses "

🤣

I explicitly answered that question from Fletch in Post #11. I also stated that Biden was timid and feckless when it came to Ukraine.

Perhaps read a thread before doing a quick in-and-out-drive-by.

Zelensky expects the world's leader of Freedom to get tough on the terrorist regime that is killing Ukrainian civilians.

But he's expecting too much from a Putzin butt buddy.
