I understand why you think this. I do understand and I do not oppose work; however, I object to children and teens being used as farm hands. That being said, I had a horse of my own once and he was a friend. I generally did not eat until after he was fed. One of my cousins had a bull called Rojo Diablo. He was actually not as bad as his name implies.
 
Yes, I would have stopped you from working and we have no idea what the results would have been.

I think that's the disconnect here - most posters were from richer, wealth privileged homes and don't understand being poor or working to have anything.
 
I think we can just leave this with the knowledge that you're in favour of child labour and let everyone decide what they think of that opinion.

of course I'm in favor of a teenager having a job if they want to work
