President Donald Trump's approval ratings remain underwater in multiple polls. Newsweek's tracking poll shows his net approval at –6 points, with 45 percent approving and 51 percent disapproving. A separate survey by Targoz Market Research and Overton Insights, conducted June 23 to 26 among 1,200 registered voters, put Trump's net approval even deeper underwater at –11 points—with 43 percent approving and 54 percent disapproving. That's a noticeable drop from a –5 net approval rating in March. The latest Quantus Insights poll, conducted June 30 to July 2 among 1,000 registered voters, showed Trump's net approval at –2 points, with 47 percent approving and 49 percent disapproving—relatively unchanged from previous Quantus polls. Pollster Jason Corley said the results reflected an "unsettled" national mood: More Americans believe the country is in decline (37 percent) than believe its best days are ahead (34 percent), while more than one in five think the nation's golden era is already behind us. Corley added that pessimism is "particularly strong" among older voters and rural Americans, key parts of Trump's base. "This is not mere partisanship. It reflects a deeper loss of faith in national direction, shared across ideological lines," he added.

Despite the persistent negative polling numbers, Trump is still pushing Republicans in Congress to pass his "Big, Cruel Bill" legislation which will force millions of Americans to lose their Medicaid health insurance, gut the federal SNAP program that helps feed millions of needy children, remove benefits from military veterans, close roughly 112 rural hospitals, and add $3.5 trillion to the national debt/deficit.

Trump demands this legislation to reward the billionaires who support him... billionaires like Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), and Steve Schwarzman (Blackstone Group). Trump doesn't give a shit what misfortunes crash down upon his MAGA base or the rest of us.

What a bunch of lies.

This bill actually increases funding for rural hospitals by 25 billion.

Why do you people do this?

Heres why it doesn’t matter.

Trump and his acolytes will just scream “Fake news” and threaten to sue the media reporting this.

Republicans' big bill could hit rural hospitals hard

Why do you people do this?

Why do MAGA on message boards ignore the cruel truths of Trump's Big Cruel Bill?

The header claims multiple polls, but this is only Newsweek's in-house poll.

The more reliable RCP composite is -3.8%, improved from a low of -7.1% in late March.

It's worth noting that Trump polls best among likely voters and worst in open polls.

Give me a specific thing you don't like.

I bet you haven't even read it.

Why are you afraid to do this?

So you haven't read it.

Got it.

Neither have your MAGA dopes in Congress.

But when Trump says vote YES or else they'll be primaried, they obey like the Russian parliament.

I don't see why they wouldn't have, I've read not only this bill but all versions that went through committee.

The Bill is actually not 960 pages long, most of that is legal crap you can skip through.

Holy guacamole! Trump spends like a drunken sailor and it will be us, our children, and our grandchildren paying for Trump's deficit spending.

That's a lie.
It's right there in the bill my friend.

25 billion to rural hospitals.

See you guys are hating on something you know nothing about.

And?

How is that going to affect you?

Nobody cares about the debt.

You give a rat's ass about deficit spending, millions losing their Medicaid health insurance, rural hospitals closing, the SNAP food program for children gutted, and on and on and on.

As long as Trump is happy, the MAGA cult is happy.

That's a lie.
She's right.

Your media bubble does not include all the relevant facts. That's why it has a cult.

You are getting dramatic over a projected increase, from $1.8 TT to $1.9 TT.

Why?

You give a rat's ass about deficit spending, millions losing their Medicaid health insurance, rural hospitals closing, the SNAP food program for children gutted, and on and on and on.

As long as Trump is happy, the MAGA cult is happy.

None of that is happening and you can't show me a single thing in the bill that does it.
