Rural people are the poorest. It's not that surprising to me.

Political beliefs matter...until they don't. Poor rural MAGA voters are not going to keep cheerleading for Trump when he is destroying them financially, I don't care how stupid a person is.

And that's why the Democratic Party should be listening to Bernie Sanders and Sherrod Brown and try to reach people like this.

I should have been clearer. I didn't mean the GOP I meant this republican controlled government. Pain is all good and well as long as it hits the Dems but when it starts eating their own, I think tempers might get a bit testy? That may be true, but the Republican Party will get decimated in elections if they can't get 40% of the public to vote for them.

And if Trump makes things bad enough, a lot of new voters will turn out to vote against them, too.....and a lot of unenthusiastic MAGA voters will just stay home.
