The Founders wanted a more religious citizenry. There is no hint of force.

Tough noogies. The founders are all long dead and freedom of religion also means freedom FROM religion. Deal with it.
 
At the inauguration ceremony Trump reused to put his hand on the Bible to be sworn in. Wonder why?
