Donald Trump says he's "allowed" to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell

The convicted Jeffrey Epstein associate met with the Department of Justice to answer fresh questions.

President Donald Trump said he had not considered pardoning Jeffrey Epstein's convicted former associate Ghislaine Maxwell, but that he could do so if he wanted to.

"It's something I haven't thought about," Trump said when asked about the possibility of a pardon for Maxwell as he prepared to depart the White House for Scotland on Friday morning, July 25.

"I'm allowed to do it, but it's something I have not thought about."

Maxwell has met with Department of Justice officials to answer fresh questions about the Epstein case.

If Trump pardons Maxwell the most reasonable inference that can be drawn is that Trump did something terrible he doesn't want Maxwell to reveal.
 
I wonder if MAGA will ever figure out that they didn’t elect someone who would stand up against the global elite, but a prominent member of the global elite who is actively involved in covering up for a gang of child rapists he is likely a prominent member of.

I also suspect that while a few MAGA influencers are already starting to push the "Maxwell was a victim!" narrative, that may be a bridge too far for your average MAGA.

Some congressman might.

What Trump might do is commute her sentence. That way she gets out, but she can still refuse to testify.

The thing is, we don't know who else is implicated. It could be there are congressmen and senators and other government officials, even judges in the files. If so, these folks are not going to cut their own throats.
