Donald Trump Labels Himself As 'Law and Order' Candidate, While Attacking Hillary Clinton - ABC News
Donald Trump Labels Himself as 'Law and Order' Candidate, While Attacking Hillary Clinton
Trump sends America into howls of laughter by proclaiming himself the law and order candidate during a campaign speech in Virginia - In the shadows of Dick “I Am no crook” Nixon nightmare - Donald Trump is pulling straight from the Nixon playbook. In 1968, Nixon tried to explain that when he said "law and order", it wasn't a code for racism. In other words, even in 1968 people saw through the dog whistle.……
This man is unbelievable………Now can be called openly a racist buffoon and GOP candidate for president………….
Given that she is a lying crook I'd say he is proving that he is a law and order candidate by attacking Hillary.

He definitely is the Law and Order candidate. Who else spends as much time in court as Donald?
I can agree with buffoon, but you need to explain the racist accusation before you have any credibility.
What, because he wont pander to Thugs like Obama and Hillary that makes him a racist? Get a clue.
Them were code words just by Nixon kicking off his "Southern Strategy"..........as well as, "Support your local Sheriff".......... And so described by historians and other like politically savvy folks........
Google the terms and see what ya get

I guess you may be too young to remember Tricky Dick and the tax cheat who was his VP.............
Now if yall want to talk scandals..................them were the days.............not these ginned up BS politically driven personal attacks......
I'm 78. I remember Nixon. Voted for him. Nixon resigned over lying and an attempted cover up. Nixon erased 18 minutes of tape. Nixon was never convicted or impeached.
I'd go through the Hillary list, but you are probably old enough to remember most of it.
I agree, as far as scandals, those were the days.

Seriously?
Asking people to support their police is being racist?
I support my local police. I hang out with 5 of them playing golf, or other activities like going fishing, crabbing, cookouts, coffee breaks, watching their kids, repairing their houses.....etc. etc. etc.
That makes me a racist?

So responding to your post.
It's complete BS.
Nixon? Dog whistle for racism?

Nixon was one of few presidents who involved himself in
Civil Rights for minorities and programs, raising the budget from 75 million to 600 million.
Nixon allocated 12 million dollars for Sickle Cell research. This disease afflicts one out of every 500 black children.
Nixon appointed the first Hispanic Treasurer of the United States, Romana Bañuelos who served from 1971-74.
In that same year of 1971, he required affirmative action for federal contractors and actually set the bar for Government Programs for years.
And finally, this is one that you really need to pay attention to because even now, it matters: In 1957, President Eisenhower proposed laws that would act as enforcements for the 15th amendment giving southern blacks the right to vote and in this Bill, southerners demanded that people who defied the new laws would be put on trial before a jury of their peers. But the jury at this time was all white, and this new bill did not mention anything about Blacks sitting on trial thanks to dilution by Democratic and some republican politicians. John Kerry, our current Secretary of State voted with Southerners while our former president, Nixon was the tie breaking vote that omitted this amendment to Eisenhowers already perfect bill.
And then to Trump.
The FBI has just wrapped up a damning investigation into Hillary Clinton, and the State Department has reopened their investigation now that the FBI is done. There was Whitewater, billing records, and controversy after controversy.
In an election year, these issues are certainly real, and Trump is absolutely on point to make an issue of it.
The disgusting revelation is the obsession to tie everything to racism by paid shills and the like.
Thankfully the people seem to becoming wise to this vile game and are starting to see the people pushing this narrative for what it is.
Bottom line, your OP, IMO is gutter trash desperation to inject racism where none exists.
Well...let's see...
One candidate wants to enforce our existing immigration laws, especially as they pertain to illegal aliens.
One candidate wants to follow in the footsteps of Obama and disregard...to actually thumb her nose at...existing immigration laws, especially as they pertain to illegal aliens...and wants to further change those laws to make them weaker.
Now...which candidate do you think is justified in claiming to be a law and order candidate?
Hmmm?
